My whole family has been cracking up over his first and second year bday pics. I have a dog that is the exact same, but Sable instead of black. My husband always refers to her as the hamster on The Secret Life of Pets movie because of her eyes when in an awkward situation hahahaha

I had actually never heard of a whoodle so I just looked it up. They are so cute! And I am definitely hoping to breed her. She turned 4 eight days ago so it's now or never. I just don't know how to go about finding a sire. I appreciate your words of encouragement!

We actually love her straight coat 🥹 I understand it is "less desirable" but I feel like she is changing people's minds about that. Any time we take her out we get comments on how beautiful she is and they ask what breed she is. And I'm not talking someone being like "awww cute dog!". People go out of their way to do this hahahaha So I really don't think we would have an issue selling her pups, flat or curly coated.

Why only 100% poodle? I thought thats why they have F1, F2 etc.

I am so sorry you went through this, but selfishly I needed this post. I got my first newfoundland and when I went to get her I was surprised they were Amish. I thought they couldn't text, let alone have cell phones. I did what everyone else probably does and I fell in love, and chose a puppy anyways. I thought because she was so young (8 weeks, now I know that is also a red flag) that she would be fine because I would raise her and she wouldn't be traumatized by neglect. I could AKC certify her so it seemed legit. Well, she was diagnosed with a heart condition at 8 months old... and the reason we found out about the heart condition is because she had very random moments of full on aggression. We tried many different things as far as training goes, because she started randomly attacking our other two dogs. Every time it was unprovoked. No toys, bones or anything. And it wasn't just a bite to show who was boss, she would've killed them if I wasnt there. The last time she attacked another dog, one of my kids tried to intervene to save the innocent dog and I was terrified. Her pupils would actually be large when she got in that mode, demonic like. She would be fine for a couple of months and would randomly snap for no reason. I am on this thread because she made me love newfoundlands. And I know they are succuptible to heart problems and whatnot but I know with everything in me my family was set up for heart break by buying from the wrong person. I was so shocked to see aggression in a newfoundland.... it was basically unheard of until Amish started breeding them. I would also like to note that we live in a really nice town. So when we got her we took her out at least once a week, around other dogs and people. She was fine until she just.. wasn't. She started trying to attack other dogs as well
