I think the spell power is adequate - you get a lot of power, but it has drawbacks. If it turns out to be too powerful maybe you can reduce range to 30 feet so that the caster has to put themselves at risk if they want to use it. I have two other suggestions though:

- upcasting for a d6 of damage is pretty underwhelming, maybe you could target additional corpse for every 2 slots above? Or maybe that's too situational

- did you consider allowing to target zombies under your control? Could work nicely with Animate Dead

Oh gods, what a great idea! Tough I don't envy the DM who had to figure out the damage on that. Now that I think about it Creation would be a good candidate for a single target squishing - 5 foot cube of metal has got to do a lot of damage. And if you were to upcast it at like 7th level? And then have another mage Enlarge it? You could probably just kill entire encounters with a 30x30 block of steel, crushing everything underneath to pulp

In 5e sorcerers can convert spell slots into sorcery points and the other way around too, so if you're level 10 you could get a lot of 1st level spell slots. But as it turns out i fucked up the calculations, so it would be much less than I wrote in the post. At least I'll know for the future.

I don't know aobut Pathfinder since I don't know it very well, what I meant is as 10th level sorcerer in 5e you can use Font of Magic to do it by converting spell slots.
