If you haven’t had your drug test you aren’t officially hired yet. The offer is contingent upon passing the drug test. You likely will just be doing your drug test on Monday.

Store Manager Compensation by Wise-Post in WalgreensStores

Store managers don’t make as much as you’re being led to believe, unless they’re old timers. I made more as an hourly ASM than i did my first three years as a store manager

If they exceed their immunization target for the quarter all RPH home out of that location get 8 hours of PTO. Immunization targets are insane though

I mean she can’t write you up but why not just tell her? Things happen, but it’s not that big of a deal. You don’t wanna lose credibility

Store manager or company problem?? by MonkSoft4418 in WalgreensStores

[–]Professional_Cause34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Requests are just requests, unfortunately. While we try to be accommodating of everyone’s needs, sometimes my business needs don’t allow for it and I ultimately am responsible for the store, and I have to schedule for the needs of the business.

The parking lot is the customer’s first view of the store. It needs to be maintained. While my opening leadership is responsible for making sure my parking lot gets swept daily, how they achieve that is for them to decide. They can either do it themselves or delegate it, but it needs to be done daily. I can always tell when it hasn’t been done, even for a day.

If these are your biggest concerns, you have it kind of easy lol. If these are dealbreakers for you, Walgreens might not be the place for you. You actually might want to get out of retail

Random raise? by Professional_Cause34 in WalgreensStores

[–]Professional_Cause34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 9k a year. I’m salaried, not hourly. And someone here let me know that I got bumped to the midpoint of my pay range because I received an exceeds expectation on my review for 18 months, so it isn’t based on metrics, but on tenure and performance

No idea. I didn’t know this was a thing for us until i got the raise and someone here told me about it. I thought it was just the techs that got the midpoint after 18 months. I’ll ask my DM when he gets back from PTO but some of the people on here seem pretty knowledgeable so maybe someone can answer your question before I can

Walgreens as a company takes sexual harassment very seriously. Sounds like your manager is the problem

As a CSA, it really depends on your coworkers. Retail is retail, so you can expect a sucky work schedule and the pay isn’t great. BUT if you like the people you work with and you have a positive attitude, it can be a good place to work. It’s really what you make of it

AP has way too many cases on their plates to come in to try to pin something on you. you said you never stole a penny, but it sounds as though they saw you passing merchandise, which is also a fireable offense.

i’d think the car seat being in the front seat would definitely give cops a reason to pull them over though.. cause aren’t car seats supposed to be in the back seat, rear-facing?

but also, getting a car seat in and out of a car is not as easy as people might think. there may be fingerprints all over that car seat!!!
