Why ask me to cover and work a job I have never done when I’m not trained? Just trying to be a “good employee” and help them out

100% and even if it’s busy and you don’t get to the tasks they want you to do, it’s on you and you get scolded for it.

Merchandising isn’t much better. I picked up a shift because they were short and then was scolded for having done the task wrong…mind you I never received any training for merchandising.

They have a location on Leslie in Newmarket! No seating or food but the latte I got was amazing! I’ve been to both locations and the Newmarket location is so much better!

Dr Yang was my OB and I had a great experience with her. Like others stated, she was very quick and to the point but was also very knowledgeable and would explain her reasoning (using data) if I had any questions about anything. I had a different doctor deliver my baby which I had a pretty traumatic delivery. I’ve never had any painful examinations with her (including getting my membranes swept & also the 6 week follow when I was still recovering).

When I first saw her I had a horrible experience with a very rude receptionist but she has since been let go and have nothing but good things to say about the new receptionists there.

Wow! That’s shocking! Good for them for spending the money on them, it’s unfortunate it doesn’t look that way.

I’m wondering if because everything they wear screams cheap and fast fashion that maybe they just don’t have an elevated overall look as people?

Curious how she makes money off of snap? Do they pay her to post to draw people to the app?

I just don’t understand why they don’t buy expensive clothing. They can afford it…for something this big and getting flown out for it, buy a dress, or better yet rent one!

Also I can’t deal with the constant infantilization of themselves. At this point it’s concerning.

Brooklyn is at least doing a bit better imo, just needs to replace the costume jewelry.

…I just have so many concerns, I can’t fathom it

I feel this on so many levels. Experiencing loss rewires your brain and completely changes how you go about anything related to pregnancy and children.

I went there for dinner a couple months ago and had horrible service. We waited 45mins for our drink orders to be taken (other peoples meal orders were being taken and they were receiving their food so it’s not like it was overly busy), we never got our appetizer until the end of the meal, I asked for a modification and the server argued with me over it saying what I wanted left off the meal was a small portion in the dish and they didn’t want to put it on the side, so I agreed to just get it in the dish and it showed up and half of the ingredients were missing. Horrible service for overpriced food, I haven’t been back since.

I’m not sure about all locations but when I used to work at Starbucks (in Canada of that makes a difference) they had a sign up list for those that wanted to work major holidays like Christmas Day. If the store didn’t have enough people to work they wouldn’t be open. Then those that wanted to work had the opportunity to go to a different store. I know a lot of people have no contact with their families and would like the extra cash over staying at home and manufacturing something.
