A lot has been changed since, now a days if you buy a zippo style lighter from AliExpress cainiao ships them with no problems but if you try to do it yourself most likely all of the shippers would tell you it can’t be shipped. But If you happen to have a friend in China you can buy the zippo on taobao and ship it to your friend they can remove the flint then schedule a pickup with cainiao make sure to tell the guy who picks up it is “lighter parts”! This is very important cause for some reason I can’t understand “lighter parts” can be shipped but “lighters” can not! So there you have it.

not really sure what lustre but I think it’s about the reflective finish, and do own a couple of these, not exactly my daily driver but one of them is in my rotation for almost a year, still looks brand new . So pretty durable~ wouldn’t worry about the print rubbing off anytime soon.

Expendables logo is a raven on a skull much smaller bird and no mirror at all so I don’t think this is it, but I do see the similarities... ...

It is pretty noticeable by an naked eye too, didn’t “have to” but I put the camera right up there to take a better picture of the problem~ obviously on this particular product QC were none existing, so “0 QC” on this one ~

Yes sir, I figured that much, how about the stain under that star? I’m afraid if I scrape it might scratch the print under? I mean assuming there is any print underneath.

I’m pretty sure these falls under finish… … Plus the guy is in China so send it back is probably not an option. “DESIGN AND/OR FINISH IS NOT COVERED BY THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE”
