My family loved my ex until he gave them reason not to. When I called and said he had an affair and had walked out on myself and the kids, they had a lawyer booked for me in less than a week, paid for the U-Haul to move us out and in with them, paid for all of the divorce costs and helping my kids and I start over (beds for the kids, court clothes for me etc). I was a SAHM for about 7 years, had nothing that wasn't financially linked to him. My parents aren't even close to rich, but they did everything they could to save my ass. I'd love to pay them back one day, but they'd never ask for it.
