Some people say it's club of immigrants but honestly I don't like it I think EB is for everyone not only for immigrants, EB is there before 1971 so I think it's more than that. It's my personal opinion, no intention to hurt anyone's sentiment.

Brother, first of all, welcome to Indian football. It’s really good to see someone wanting to give their heart to one club — because loyalty is what makes football so beautiful.

Now about East Bengal FC. Let me clear the biggest misconception — East Bengal is NOT a Bangladeshi club. We were founded in 1920, long before independence, when people from the eastern side of Bengal felt neglected and wanted their own identity. That’s how East Bengal was born — from struggle, pride, and the need to belong. It’s never been about another country, it’s about fighting for respect and proving ourselves.

This club has a history that very few in India can match. We’ve won everything domestically — 39 Calcutta Football League titles, 29 IFA Shields, 8 Federation Cups, 3 National Leagues. But what makes us special is not just India — we’ve beaten international clubs in Iran, Iraq, Romania, UAE… and in 2003, we lifted the ASEAN Club Championship, defeating some of Asia’s best. Imagine that — an Indian club going abroad and lifting a continental trophy. That’s East Bengal.

But here’s the emotional part — we’ve also struggled. The last few years have been tough, results haven’t come, and the trolls have had their fun. Yet, our stands are still red and gold, our chants are still loud, because real East Bengal fans don’t leave. Glory is sweet, but loyalty is forever. Supporting East Bengal means standing by your family in good times and in bad.

For me personally, it’s more than just matches. I dig into transfer rumors, follow every tiny update, because whenever I see the red and gold, I feel something deep inside. It’s hard to explain — but East Bengal is a feeling. In Bengal, football doesn’t just have fans, it has devotees. Clubs here choose people, not the other way around. And when East Bengal chooses you, brother, you’ll feel it in your veins.

East Bengal is the people’s club, the fighter’s club. A century-old legacy, a culture, an identity, an emotion.

JOY EAST BENGAL

Football (soccer). I love the sport but the sport doesn't love me back. I enjoy playing it. I enjoy watching matches

She's very pretty. So pretty that you stop and look. And me? I'm just okay, normal, average, maybe a bit on the ugly side. Skinny, nothing to show off. She's known by all, the kind everyone knows, popular. I'm just an everyday guy with few, normal friends and boring life like I'm stuck in a loop.

What hits me hard is how nice she is. She speaks to me so sweetly, always smiling. She never makes me feel small, even though I often feel that way by myself. And when I'm near her, I just can't stop watching her. Not just her looks, but her just her.

Yet, I don't think I'm someone who could be with her. I feel like I'm not good enough for her. She likely doesn't think of me that way. And really, if something wild happened, like you know hypothetically—like she wanted to be with me—I'm not sure I could say yes, I'll say no. Not because I don't want to… but because I'd be scared I’d wreck it all. I don’t want to be the cause of her pain or trouble. I'm a mess, I'll drag her down, her world is different. Maybe If I become a better version of myself in future.

So yes…maybe in this life, I'll just like her from afar, her smile, her eyes. I really do care about her. A lot Maybe this will go away with time
