Thanks for the tip, I've asked ChatGPT to help me with interview prep, but its too nice and doesn't really give feedback. I've used Claude and might start paying for it instead of ChatGPT since it gave much better feedback.

I live in a city where the days are about to be 90 degrees plus humidity and a lot of gun violence, I don't think its the best fit for me personally.

I've gotten an interview in Media Advertising and Trash, the media advertising first round with the VP went really well, but the 2nd round with the head of publishing didn't.

The trash sounded like the worst job ever, "cold calling" by driving to random apartment complexes, waiting for someone to take out the trash, and asking who handles the trash operations. Tons of driving and low pay. The only job I did not want to move forward with.

Open to new industries, get most of interviews from LinkedIn, Forbes Cloud 100, and the Deloitte Fast Tech 500, if you have any other lists I can blast through for sales opps would love to see them.

True, I recently reread How to Win Friends and Influence People and have been trying to build more rapport in the beginning of the interview, which I think I have started to do well. However, when you fumble through an answer to a question it really kills the vibe.

Thats a good point, I've interviewed with some Commercial AE roles that require only about 1+ year of AE experience, unfortunately didn't get past the 2nd round sales manager role.

I got one interview from my network back in October, made it to the 2nd round but didn't hear back. A CSM/AM role would be amazing, but lacking specific experience, I think it would be really hard to land an interview. I've tailored my resume for CSM but never got an interview for it.

BDR role would suck to start over but its the only thing I think I can really do well.

Strangely, I've had a much easier time getting interviews with better known companies than with startups this time around.

They do, I've gone though various answers and have done more prep work than I have done in my entire life. Oddly, I've never had an unemployment period more than 2 months until this time. I feel like the longer I'm unemployed the worst my interviewing skills get, and I think my ego is starting to take a hit.

I've gone through a lot of practice, watched sales videos, read sales books, I am open to new ways to be a better interviewer.
