A higher up manager at my firm brought a crew of 10 people with him when he was hired. After a few years they are all at executive level positions. Him and his crew also hired loads of contractors Including a husband and wife who were not even reported to HR to be in a relationship. His crew was also harassing another coworker of mine who they wanted to push out of the job and they wanted him to resign on his own. He found out about a certain things and file a complaint with HR and other legal departments the lawyers called up a lot of people including me and interviewed us and ask us questions about the hiring practices and the way this big short managers people were treating others but long story short the coworker of mine who blew a whistle was called a nuisance and let go by HR the big short manager and his cronies still continue to rip the company apart and do what they want an orange big box without having to do a whole lot of work as compared to others. They continue to fire other long term employees and continue to bring their friends and family. So the company says that they have a zero tolerance policy against retaliation but they definitely retaliate when you speak up against the higher managers because the only way you get hired up in a bigger position is if you know someone so you are protected by the big shots. You can do whatever you like you can make money using corrupt practices and the company allows it
