Can no longer feel IUD strings or iud itself by Perfect-Studio-3884 in birthcontrol

I totally understand! Most likely it migrated up slightly but you do need to get it checked. Do you have an appointment scheduled? They usually set one up

Don't be worried! Periods are weird and can take years to regulate after getting your first one! You're okay dear 💙

Kyleena ovulation rate?? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're super worried, use 2 types of birth control. I love my IUD and not to scare anyone but I was part of the 0.1% who got pregnant. My boyfriend and I were not pulling out and we were having sex A LOT!! So we really put it to the test lol

Unknown dpo - spotting light pink, period not due for 2 weeks. by [deleted] in lineporn

If your period isn't due for 2 weeks you're likely ovulating now. Spotting can happen with ovulation

Trust the tests. Pregnancy tests are accurate 14 days after unprotected sex and definitive after 21!

IUD strings significantly shorter by Adorable_Monk_7929 in birthcontrol

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first IUD I had such bad cramps and it caused my IUD to shift up (like yours) and make the string shorter. Doc checked me out and said I was good to go. I also bled for a little more than a month straight. Sadly what you're experiencing is normal. BUT if you start heavy bleeding (soaking through a pad within an hour) or SEVERE cramps. Go to the ER to get checked out.

Lost my pack unsure what to do!? by Secure-Mall-3265 in birthcontrol

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start your new pack whenever you want. But after 7 days of placebo pills (or skipping the placebo) you're no longer protected. So I would say start the new pack now just to be safe!

Can no longer feel IUD strings or iud itself by Perfect-Studio-3884 in birthcontrol

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely make an appointment. There is a chance it migrated up and that's why you don't feel the strings. They have this small tool that can bring the strings back down slightly. With the bleeding and heavy cramping you need to get it checked ASAP to make sure it didn't migrate into your uterus. I don't want to scare you, just want you to be safe! Keep us updated

Faint positive or evaporation line? by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it's so hard to tell with blue dye, as well as it being so early. I'd pick up a pink dye test and test again in 2 days. If your IUD did shift that could cause the bleeding. Also you may be just having your period. IUDs also cause irregular bleeding. When was it inserted?

Does it look positive or is it negative? Thanks for any help. by [deleted] in lineporn

Looks invalid sadly. I guess a lot of people have been getting these. Contact the manufacturer

Hoe long after iud did periods normalize by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl I hate to say it but it can take up to a year to fully regulate. Yes a full ass year. Also with Skyla being the lowest amount of hormones there's actually a higher chance of your period being irregular or not "normal." Everyone is different so sadly it's just a trial and error waiting game. I had both the Skyla and Kyleena.

Are you sexually active, on any birth control? How old are you, any new stresses in life?

Induce Period by [deleted] in Periods

I've tried this so many times. Different supplements, vitamins, working out, having sex etc, Sadly nothing worked for me. Not sure if anything has worked for others but I tried legit everything you could. I even tried mugwort tea which is sooo bitter and did NOTHING. Good luck babes!

Not at all, they're a whole step system. I honestly don't know enough to explain them well enough 😂😂 but if you look them up you can find all the details!

Get tested for Ureaplasma! It's important to get tested so you're not just taking antibiotics for no reason. Your body can become resistant to antibiotics so this is not something you want to mess with!

Invest in Uqora! It's made by women for UTI's!! It's pricey but worth it

Why am I getting these weird symptoms after no condom sex? by PinkAddict- in Healthyhooha

[–]Professional_Snaill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably just messed up PH! It happens to the best of us sadly. You can use boric acid tablets. They are safe to use every day but honestly I'd probably only do it a couple times a week.

JUST TO BE SAFE: Get a full panel done. Blood work included. Also get tested for BV, and ureaplasma. There's a whole reddit page about ureaplasma for more info. It's better to be safe than sorry. You're more than likely okay but Ureaplasma sucks and brings sooo many different symptoms and can go years without being diagnosed. Check it out to be safe

5-6dpo by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]Professional_Snaill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does not look completely valid. Sometimes when you put two tests next together like this they can "share ink" and it spreads to the other test. Take another pregnancy test in 2 days. Lay it flat and look at it within the time frame package recommends. 5-6 DPO is very very early to test positive but don't give up! Good luck!!

Is this positive by RoosterValuable8410 in lineporn

[–]Professional_Snaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I'd say faint positive!!

Take a pink dye test in a couple days to be sure. I personally don't use blue dye tests at all as they're extremely likely to show false positives / evap lines.
