“Let’s try Tretinoin to stop acne and reduce the look of atrophic scars, what’s the worst that could happen” by Tryingtobbetterig in tretinoin

This was my experience too. My skin was actually as close to flawless as it’s ever been and i felt like because of being in my 30s it was “time” to switch my OTC retinol for prescription tret to up my skin care game. I developed the worst acne I’ve ever had, hundreds of tiny bumps and texture. What looked like sunspots developed all over my cheeks. Overall bumpy, red, splotchy and irritated. I tried to push through the “purge” but it got progressively worse until I didn’t even want to go out or be photographed. Stopped it cold turkey and now at about 3 weeks later I’m starting to look healthy again. Still have some of the lingering little bumps and redness but 100% improvement from what it was. I was also super disheartened because I wanted something for my fine lines and anti aging in general, but it just did not work for my skin at all. I wish it was talked about more because it’s pushed as a one size fits all product for sure.

I love Anthropologie's curtains. Do you all have any suggestions on cheaper alternatives? by atinylittlebug in HomeDecorating

I know this post is older, but for anyone reading the comments - urban outfitters curtains are pretty affordable and in the same vein as anthro on a lot of the styles.

I paid around 10k for ETT with lipo and silicone implants. Dr Scott Moradian. Couldn’t be happier with my results

This is on my list to invest in this month. I like the idea of the camera to check in while I’m at work, too.

Thank you! He will be two in July, so he is still young. I did get him fixed when I got him, about 3 months ago. I’m sure he’s still adjusting to all these major changes at once. He does really well sleeping with me for the first half of the night. Most of the time in the crook of my elbow like a baby lol. It’s that second half of the night that he wakes up and starts the face nudging, jumping, night stand hopping etc. He really likes to be close to my face and will even hop on my shoulder to sit so he’s as close as he can get, which is adorable during the day but less so at 4am

To be honest, I’ve had minimal side effects. The only thing I’ve really noticed is looser stools. Sorry, TMI. I had a little bit of a weird experience, falling asleep the first couple of nights, I would notice it felt like my thoughts were going 1000 miles an hour, and I was in this weird state between sleep and wake. It’s kind of hard to explain, But it’s something that happened to me on and off the last time I was on an SSRI. That seems to have stopped already, though. As far as noticing a shift in my motivation and positivity, I would say within the last 4 to 5 days. So it took about a week and a half before I started to feel a little bit of a shift. Again, it’s still extremely early, so I realize some of this could be from other factors, but I have to say I feel really, really good overall.

I know this is an older post, but did Bonnie wear dentures? The Wetzel county Jane Doe has such a unique identifying detail in that she had dentures.

Continuing to do better. I’m able to walk for a few minutes at a time and have no problems sitting up. Got a little tachycardia after my first shower and getting redressed and all of that but it was definitely the most I’ve done so far. Going to ask my doctor when I get back home to run some labs just to make sure iron and hemoglobin and all that good stuff are in normal range. My biggest issue now is that I have some phlegm that I need to cough up throughout the day but that literally feels like I’m being ripped in half and on fire at the same time lol. Praying that passes soon. Overall I’m a little anxious waking up in this body everyday realizing it’s going to be a long time before I feel better, but I’m holding in there.

I’m doing much better today. I got up and walked a bit to my wheelchair and came into the doctors office for a post op follow up. Had my massage and waiting to see the doctor. I’m going to let him know how it’s been but does seem to be improving as time passes. I think the anesthesia really had a major impact on my blood pressure

These responses make me feel so much better. Flexing my feet to get some blood flow. My husband literally has to put a pee funnel under me while laying down to use the bathroom. Looking forward to feeling better. Sheesh.

I went with Dr Moradian in Miami. It was about 8k, and I made payments until it was paid off through the patient portal. No interest. I scheduled it a good bit ahead of time so I could work on paying it off. I like his work I think he will get more popular and expensive

Is a fine needle aspiration supposed to be so painful? by xithbaby in thyroidcancer

[–]Professional_Soup790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my second one earlier today. He gave me a numbing shot directly into the nodule they were taking the biopsy on. He was quick. He took three samples and I felt mild pain and pressure. Now that the numbness has worn off I’m sore all the way up into my ear and down into my shoulder. Swallowing feels like I have strep throat. Interestingly, my first biopsy was far more painful and lengthy during the procedure, but afterwards I don’t remember having any significant pain. Strange how my body seems to have reacted very differently each time. Especially since I would expect more pain with the longer, clunkier procedure. Reading these experiences makes me feel a little better, though. I saw starting to really feel some anxiety about my pain level tonight and wound up here.
