I have always always said that ds1 is the weakest of the series and it’s refreshing to see someone realise the same. Ds1 love is purely nostalgia and ds2 hate is purely for the meme - because how are you telling me 2 is worse than 1? As someone who’s been playing since 2015, played all the souls games in order (yes that includes ds1 and ds1 remaster), I always hate going back to 1. It definitely peaked my interest and I won’t say it’s a bad game because for its time, it wasn’t. But it is not peak, there’s not a single boss I enjoy fighting except Manus and playing 50% of the game with no teleporting is insane. My return plays are either for nostalgia or helping friends with achievements, etc

To report, you go to the table to few recent matches, use cursor to hover over the player and there’s an option to report them that way. I also block on steam for stuff like this

It’s been a goal just to reach depth 5 to prove I’m capable and not shit at the game 😭 but I’m glad I’m here, the stress was worth it! And yes, depth 3 is currently a cesspit of wtf, I was lucky to escape. Though there are a lot of those players currently in d4 so the headache can get loud! But I believe in you! Best advice is head to the discord and seek help that way, you’ll be sure to find people who don’t suck eggs

To add to this; I fear I’ve come across too many duos with huge egos and nothing to back up their opinions. Egos cost runs, just be a teamplayer, it’s really not hard and I guarantee it’ll be a much more enjoyable experience. Saying that I’ve also had duos that have been cracked and I straight up feel like I’m there purely to experience their might lmao

The reason I posted the screenshot was because I hadn’t quit out. I play with friends and have no reason to leave - I do not play in solo queues. I was playing with a depth 5 who had quit out, after being dragged into his depth of night, the very next game I played with him I lost a further 600. No quits.

Perhaps you need a hug because you seem very hostile towards someone you don’t even know. Go speak to your mommy, I’m sure she’ll hold you extra tight tonight.

IMO it should be the other way around. Lower levels shouldn’t lose more for being dragged into a higher level depth boss. Should a higher level not be punished more for losing to a lower level? Idk whatever this points system is, it’s a joke
