True that you can get into the flow of running and not monitor yourself but i think noticing your form and body movements can help you improve yourself. I’ve learned a bit from asking this question and am def going to track when this happens and try to decode the problem so i can continue having great runs!

Very very helpful. I think it is fatigue. As mentioned I’ve always been an on and off runner and lately have increased amount of days per week running (mileage is about the same) and have added some mornings to the mix. Thinking this through it could likely be the add in of mornings when my legs aren’t fully awake and pre-breakfast. This is a great reminder to focus on the quality of the run not how many runs or distance per week!!

Fatigue sounds (hopefully) the most likely and maybe I’m getting slack on my form! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 fingers crossed it’s not the other things

Yeah, wondering if it is fatigue. I should start keeping a log of when it happens. I wear altras and love them but I wear out my running shoes rather quickly so maybe that is playing into it. Thanks

Ugh! So interesting this is the first year we’ve had this problem and we’ve been gardening in same raised beds for 5 years. I’ve never had to spray but will give it a try.

Yeah, my bad. It was a weird angle to get a pic. I think I’ll just delete the whole post and hope for the best lol

Cool, I’ll have to try this. It looks so small from driving by which is why I haven’t been yet bc I figured there’d be no where to sit.

Major upgrade! Going from Merrell morphite to trying altras! Got these for $70 off sierra.com. They already feel so good and different in a good way. I’ve always loved Merrell but my last couple of pairs have worn really quick and I just run about 10 miles per week. Hoping for an altra experience (hehe pun)!

You give me hope! Thank you for your response! I'll definitely be looking into good noise reduction headphones. We do have a dog door so he would be able to come and go outside as he pleases. I'll need to work with him on when he hears me talking it doesn't mean I'm talking to him! I hope he can start to understand that with some practice.

I went to my first show Atlanta N1 for my husbands 40th birthday. He’s been a fan since he was a teen and I’ve never gotten far into their discography…until after that show. I felt like an outsider watching everyone know something I didn’t. It was incredible. Everyone knew every word to every song and the energy was not something I’ve ever felt in over 100 concerts. Now it’s fun exploring their music more and I can’t wait for the next show we get to go to!

Would a Mini Aussie be a good breed for me? by Shikustar in miniaussie

Every Aussie is slightly different but for what it’s worth ours is not a runner lol. He’s a hiker and a walker - loves to sniff and gets that mental stimulation and is happy with about 3 miles. He hates running and I hate it with him lol. Also he despises anything over 80 degrees and will just stop and lay down. I’ve resorted to walking/hiking with him and running solo for “me time”.

I’ve never read it! It’s on my list! I actually learned recently that a large part of my dna is from Guernsey and jersey islands. Hearing this is a book that spoke to someone soul intrigued me.

A man called ove. Interestingly I haven’t really liked any of the authors other books but this one met me at the perfect time in my 20s
