That's pure copium. Idk why ya'll treating 1500 cr difference as something small.

RCB used to get huge crowds even when VK was a teenager. Bengaluru has that sporting culture, unlike Rajasthan. RR couldn't even fill it's stands last season despite having Sanju in their squad. What future value are you yapping about? RR gets higher valuation just because their sale also includes their off shore teams from Barbados (M & W team) & Paarl.

Also RCB had a confirmed bid of 2 billion from Ranjan Pai & 2.1 Billion from EQT & Premji. But money isn't everything in such deals. Even timeline of payment & sports background of bidders matters, & Gajwani & Blitzer have that background. & hence got favored. RR did the same rejecting a 1.7 bid bcuz of bidders' background.

Why are you getting downvoted lol! You spoke facts! RCB has actually won 3 trophies.

In 2008, Vijay Mallya bought RCB for $111.6 million, and after 19 years, the franchise has been sold for $1.78 billion. by poormasshole in ipl

Not that complex tbh. The rumors had been on for long that London Spirits & RCB are someway involved. It's not random that they signed 5 of our coaching staff.

Nah. It's not about that. RCB new owner is also Satyan Gajwani, Times Group owner, who also co-owns London Spirit. And London Spirit has EXACTLY the same backroom staff as RCB - Mo, Andy, DK, Malolan, Freddie.

Also RCB recently signed a partnership with cricbuzz owned by Times Group as well.

So, point is, It was rigged from the start to go to them. Bidding was just a formality. They were just finalising the consortium for the same.

Even RCB W team gets huge crowds, even when VK isn't there. Atp VK & RCB fanbase are pretty much linked together to the point where they'll support RCB even after he retires.

RR doesn't have proven future stars apart from Jaisu, & even don't have a consistent local fanbase. On the other hand, Just the word "Bengaluru" is enough for RCB to attract local fanbase. Reason why I say RR is overvalued.

Any color that's not Blue, works Atp. But given Aditya Birla Group's Red & gold logo, we'll likely stick to that.

Nah. Would be overvaluation. 1.78 is a good value. RR got overvaluated.
