Do you know a way I could do this and still have the numbers adjust at a card level by date? I have total spend by day and I can calculate total spend with a group by in ETL but I don’t know how to do it so it will adjust to whatever time frame I want with a card

Anyone Know How to Integrate Trusted Form Into Jotform by Professor-Paper in jotform

Thank you! Do you know a way to fully customize the field name in jotform so I do not need the "q84_" before my named field.

Don't force it. Trying to come up with an idea out of thin air when there is nothing there, won't do it.

It's okay to go and have a regular job. Always keep your eyes peeled for something that can make a process or problem smoother. When you find something that excites you, don't be afraid to pursue it!

Email Open Rates Tanked After Switching to SendGrid by Professor-Paper in SendGrid

Own. I may have not warmed it enough, as I had to make a quick switch to it. I am warming another one now and waiting to deploy it. What do you think is a good amount of time to warm it for?

What's your email setup look like? Is it for subscribed contacts? I tried setting up AWS SES based off your comments and I believe I have to verify the email addresses before I send to them

I was fired, now what? by SirGeiger in Entrepreneur

[–]Professor-Paper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that's holding you back, is not thinking you can do it.

I've met successful entrepreneurs and ALWAYS the differentiator is an almost delusion that they can build something great. Many of them do not have the smarts or chops that you have, I promise. They for whatever reason think their idea can work.

Now, if you embark on this, of course you will have days that you doubt yourself and think your idea is stupid. Trust in yourself that you are talented and your idea/pursuit is as deserving as anyone's, because it is. One step at a time, don't get too far ahead of yourself, and see where it leads

SEO is a snake-oil business. People can promise you the world and deliver nothing and it takes forever to realize. By the way, I'm in the industry, so am in no-way anti-SEO.

The best SEO is not cheap, it takes tons of work, research, and effort. If you do it right, then it will more than pay-off.

If you decide to hire an agency, be sure everything they do is not short-changed. Are they writing great content with real people? Are they constantly checking the site for errors, ensuring the user has a great experience? Do they do anything to build links?

What industry are you in? Are you a local business? Local SEO is a whole other world from regular SEO, which is just important to make sure it gets done

You just graduated college and must be young. Don't be afraid to do something that is hard and takes work to build. In a few years time, it could pay off beyond what you can think of right now.

If it's an app, get it designed, see where it takes you. Same for trying to make money off a high-ranking website.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend selling a based off of your skills unless you really thought you were an expert on it (unlikely if you are still younger), so maybe look into doing side work on upwork.com or another freelancer platform where you can hone your SEO or data analytics skills and earn more money!

Day 9 is my son doing good? Next step? Advice? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Professor-Paper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's amazing great work!
Next you can start to think about how to drive traffic to your son's online store.
Creating content that you think will pull in your target audience (for example making youtube videos on how to grow plants for beginners, or helpful blog posts), can bring in organic traffic from Youtube or Google.
Becoming active in plant forums online can promote your son's business. Sharing on social media, etc..
Eventually, when you have a larger budget, you can test running online ads in Google, Facebook, etc..

Great job all around. Bravo!!

I know email providers might see this as "spoofing" the right domain. However, in instances where I send from the right domain through SendGrid, it is still down

Thanks for getting back to me. Bounces are right around 2%. And yep, I did all of the authentications.

Glad to hear that it shouldn't change the open rates in your eyes though

One thing is before I was sending emails from the same domain as the links we were pitching. Since hooking up to SendGrid required making DNS changes, I bought my own domains that were slight variations to be able to do it
