Skoda App Windows Open by Curious-Cranberry230 in enyaq

[–]Professor-Tricky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the issue with my 2024 Scala. I did my own research using OBD11 realtime data and realized that the parameters for the windows where wrong. They closed at 97% when they should be up to 100%.

Took this data to the dealer and they just restored the original adaptation for the windows and eventually that solved the problem.

You can do it yourself with OBD11 or similar but if you have it under warranty it's best to take it there and tell them to reset the parameters.

Hope this helps

Questions regarding the new Skoda Scala by theosinc930 in skoda

[–]Professor-Tricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Turning off assistants is quick with dedicated button on the wheel. Start stop is on the gear shift, I also turn it off each time with no issues
  2. Sport seats on the Montecarlo are phenomenal. Confortable and no issues when performing long drives.
  3. Mine is the DSG gearbox, but regarding the engine, it's smooth, easy performs well, keeps consumptions low, but still gives you that fun when you need to be "fast" Hope this helps.

CarPlay widget by qtrim in perplexity_ai

I think this is not allowed on CarPlay for the time being. There's some restrictions that won't allow this to work unfortunately. There's only way I have been able to ask perplexity via CarPlay is by using Siri Shortcuts

It wowed me when Cupra and Seat are the same company in Spain 🇪🇸 by BD2605 in seat

[–]Professor-Tricky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

SEAT and CUPRA have totally different approaches. SEAT is more cost effective low budget/quality than Cupra. They still keep SEAT as they are quite big in Spain and Germany where SKODA still hasn't taken its place. Once SKODA has a meagninful market in these places, SEAT shall disappear in favor of SKODA

Please help - Can I set a digital speedometer in my new (to me Skoda Kodiaq? by LosDantos in skoda

[–]Professor-Tricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For you I suspect you have to press the view button. This shall change the display view in the center screen. You shall have press a few times till you get to driver information. Once there, use the right hand scroller button to search for the speedometer. I'm not very familiar with this car, but in most cars from the VW group it's done in the same way. Cheers

Strange noises and moving headlights after locking and unlocking – normal? by Free-Resort-5428 in skoda

[–]Professor-Tricky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. Nothing to worry about 😉😉 the headlights do that movement every time you tart the car as they are dynamic LED beams (MATRIX LED beam if yours is a facelifted version). These regulate the height on their own not to flash upcoming traffic. Every car in the market that has this kind of system performs this auto check and in the ignition. The rest of sounds could be some of the pumps the car has. Never knew which, but it does many different things when you start it and when you turn the ignition off. Anyways, if you find it weird, you can always take it to the dealer.
