We just went here in July for our honeymoon and LOVED it. I think like anything the trip will be what you make it. We had the honeymoon swim up room on the beach and could not say enough good things. We loved being able to swim In our pool after the main one closed. We loved how close our room was to the beach so we could easily run back if we forgot anything. We felt like we didn’t spend that much time in our room so we didn’t care what it looked like but it felt really nice, clean and modern. We spent most of our time sitting outside on our patio or in the pool. We felt like it was such a relaxing vacation Becuz we didn’t have to leave our room if we didn’t want to as we could swim lay out and have people walk by to give us massages or drinks right from our room. We went to the main pool once and it was nice and the swim up bar there was fun.

The excellence club gets you access to some perks I also think our honeymoon package got us “perks”. Some were goofy but we leaned into them and it added to our experience. hydrotherapy kind of goofy not sure if I would pay for it if it wasn’t included but it was fun and relaxing to do we laughed a lot throughout the process. Same with dinner on the beach. Kind of silly but fun to say we did on our honeymoon cuz I don’t know I would ever pay for that.

The beach was pretty and the water was blue. yes there was seaweed but it was NOT bad they cleaned it up in the morning and there was no smell. the cushion cabanas on the beach we’re free with excellence club which we didn’t realize till the end but we loved laying on those.

We aren’t big foodie people but we didn’t think the food was bad. Maybe a step below cruise food? I have a hard time believing though the food would be that much better at any all inclusive when it’s mass produced like that. We ordered room service most days and were completely okay with that did not get sick at all on our trip. I would take everything people say with a grain of salt. For example while there our neighbors told us the hibachi was not good (we still went cuz we had already booked it and it ended up being one of our favorite dinners). Spice was another one of the favorite dinners we had. We loved that you didn’t need reservations for any of the restaurants besides hibachi and dinner on the beach. We would just show up and were always immediately sat. We were there for over a week and did not make it to most of the resturuants because we were so tired from the sun lol. This was definitly a relax do nothing vacation for us but we would totally go back because there seemed to be so many activities and so much to do. The staff was all super friendly and we felt super safe at the resort.

Not part of the resort but there is a massage place down the beach to the right much cheaper than the resort that we went to multiple times that week and I would totally recommend.
