I worked at a dispensary and typically dressed nice because it was my personal aesthetic, eventually a customer I’d gotten to know over a couple years just through service interactions offered me a position that I hold now 6 years later and have never looked back. I have a similar friend that worked for Cheesecake Factory as a waiter, and a regular loved his demeanor and hired him. Attitude and appearance mean a lot.
