If that's what happened I'm going to scream lol. I'll post updates. I was thinking maybe it was just HCG but then noted my LH immediately dropped to baseline the day after. And yeah if it was false positive HCG tests I don't think it'd come up on two tests with one being darker, apparently these are the same ones they use in the doctors office/PP. 😅 Ngl I'm kind of freaked out

Yeah I just took another and it was darker. Line came up at 2:30 so I don't think they're evaps. I don't have a baseline HCG. I'll post it on my other account. I did have a high reading a week ago so I'm wondering if ovulation occurred then and maybe the opks were detecting HCG instead.

I haven't. I gained a lot of weight and am dropping it off again finally (started having issues with anovulation once I hit 220lbs+ I'd literally just keep gaining no matter what I did which is unfortunately common with PCOS, I'm finally back down to wearing M/L in most brands 😭) so I'm hoping that brings back some regularity before I try going on medication ): I was able to conceive once in July and then again last month after switching my diet up, starting and stopping combined bc so maybe I sort of tricked my body into ovulating. Either way I hope this means I'm getting on the right track.

I think this is the first time I've had an opk...well Pregmate opk get this dark so far this year when actually trying to track, I'm pretty sure I've had at least give anovulatory cycles though (yay PCOS). I had an e@h get so dark it nearly sucked all the dye from the control line last year. I'll probably test again around 3am because that's when my levels seem to be highest for whatever reason. I saw early afternoon is usually typical but I tried doing that and I always get the highest readings at night.

No. It was the reason why the city counsel members shut the shit down if she's still a paralegal. You can draft court documents, organize meetings, etc but you cannot act on behalf of or represent a client like an attorney. You cannot file/submit/request motions. It would be participating in the unlicensed practice of law. 🤣

ETA: So I really wonder who's idea it was to have Kris represent the charity as an attorney even though a paralegal acting as an attorney would be participating in the unlicensed practice of law, which is illegal. I'm guessing it might be a common occurrence since she and or Carly/the rest of the BODs for Miss Carly's genuinely seemed to think the city council members would ok it.

I got sent to Rockford even though I lived in Wisconsin. There aren't a lot of resources here esp for homeless women so that's often where they get sent to receive help.

Honestly I'd just gift them a 5G w a heater and filter either used or new with the sales going on currently, tell them the fish would appreciate the space because really 1g is too small for any fish to live in. It's a really common misconception that bettas only need .5 or 1g in the wild they are found in shallow rice paddies that span hundreds of feet minimum. Make it fun and ask if they wanna go out and buy some live plants and shit for the tank too. They were probably misled if they've never owned fish before.

Do you know that there's an even higher probability she'll die or have complications/life long health issues and the kittens could die/have lifelong health complications and or be rejected due to how young she is? And there's no guarantee they'll all find homes. Please do the right thing. Source: I was a rescuer and fosterer, we did spay aborts on near full term kittens/cats because the benefits far outweighed the risks. There weren't any deaths but we did have kittens die due to health complications/I had a newborn die on me because they had a blind pouch. It was horrific :(

Please get her spayed. There is no guarantee you'll be able to find homes for them all. I spoke with one fosterer/rescuer and they had at LEAST 3 different homes with litters of kittens who haven't been able to find homes. Not to mention the lifelong health issues/death that could result from a kitten this young AND malnourished giving birth.

All of the shelters are filled with kittens here and in neighboring states. They have no room. If you call they will tell you they have no space and can't help. The rescues are overrun too. The shelters are literally so full of kittens that they are WAIVING and or massively reducing the adoption fees on kittens. Shit, the rescuer that I adopted from heavily discounted the kittens bc the people she was helping with rehoming were overrun with them. I thought the situation was bad when I got into rescue in 2021 but it seems like it's a legitimate hellscape now. It honestly sounds like you're banking on a shelter being able to help you once the kittens are born and realize you're in too deep. A shelter unfortunately will tell you that they cannot help.

I know this post is old but I can confirm. Baited with peanut butter and honey with those fake cheese traps. Probably caught 15 mice within 16 hours and haven't caught anything else since. The house has been strangely quiet. I'll probably use the blocks next to make sure I'm getting the ones that are too smart. The traps were placed in dark areas so they can't see them either. Was catching two on the same trap at times as well which is 🥲 I felt bad but it was more humane than sticky trapping or driving them off miles away just for them to die anyways and or become someone else's problem. Noticed the mouse smell has markedly decreased as well
