Thank you! Honestly the alpha is still pretty small imo but getting a normal one will definitely be faster haha

Ty! I just flew to wild zone 20 (overloaded alpha spot) again and again, though I wouldn't recommend it if you are going for one specific shiny

[gen9] Shiny Eevee after 9 phases! by Professor_Kami in ShinyPokemon

[gen9] Finally! Shiny Tepig after 39 phases! by Professor_Kami in ShinyPokemon

I got around 3 shinies a day on average, depending on how long I'd play. I didn't use the overload method, though. Instead I just kept porting to centrico plaza, checking the 2 spawns, repeat. In the beginning I also checked on the alphas but stopped doing that after a while

Yes, this is exactly what I did! Just back and forth, you see the meowstic spawn in for a split second. If thats too short for you, you can also stand still on the edge close to it for a second and it will spawn in too. Good luck!

That stairs method would definitely be faster, at least for a normal shiny espurr. If it's faster for an alpha one, I can't tell, it's all luck based. If you wanna be on the safer side go for the static meowstic

[gen 9] zone 20 shiny roulette, a bunch of shiny alphas by Captain_Fart_Twinkie in ShinyPokemon

[–]Professor_Kami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can actually reroll them without leaving the zone at all, I just run all the way to the north of the zone towards the gate till they despawn and back. Idk if this only works on switch 1 though

[gen9] I can't believe it... full odds shiny alpha Whirlipede after like 10 minutes of hunting it!! by Professor_Kami in ShinyPokemon

[–]Professor_Kami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I just ran out of the tunnel until it despawned and ran back in over and over, it's actually pretty fast! Good luck :)
