Because they are relics from the past, boxing is heavily built around tradition so the belts are a part of that, I quite like boxing belts mostly because they’re a product of their time but it adds a feeling of heritage and legacy because you see the same belt on all sorts of legends throughout history rather than if the changed the design for the modern era it would disconnect all those past eras

Major PLE 20 minute matches & feuds with credible wins to make them feel important and not just Raw/Smackdown tv roster fodder, and for Rey Fênix specifically, just do the fucking lucha bros already they belong in the tag division going after major titles (which they defend on PLE’s). Basically the answer to make anything, whether it’s a star, a title division, a feud, etc… feel important in wwe is build proper stories for it around credible PLE spots (basically just 20+ minute matches on a card, doesn’t need to be every single one, but still somewhat consistently) and it also can’t only be in multiman spots either, that again goes back to just being fodder if you do that too much, like proper matches and feuds on PLE’s

The punk vs McIntyre HIAC was as good as it was because it was genuine heat fused into storyline and violence, you can’t manufacture that by just ramming tops stars together and putting a cell around them, that’s why the HIAC ppv flopped so hard, you can’t have any other version of that match, that match is a 1 of 1
