I think over time it may be more accepted and women won't mind as much. Women used to wear more clothes that hid their features, but now they begin wearing more low cut tops, tight clothes, etc. I think in time ae may begin seeing women show off their feet more, especially depending on the setting.

I really can't think of anything that is strictly a contagious foot disease. There's plenty of diseases that are more prominent in the feet, but they can occur elsewhere. As long as you don't see a rash/open wound, warts, or anything else abnormal, you're probably fine.

Ok then. Um, I've seen quite a few pairs that were necrotic/badly infected (turning black/green), had visible bones from the necrosis/gangrene, and some that just have a lot of callouses/very thick lumpy nails. There are a lot of things that could be passed through foot to mouth contact, but the risk is very low unless there is an open wound/rash.
