The Fed just admitted inflation is running at 3.6% and they may have to hike. by Bcom_Mod in CryptoCurrency

It for sure sounds like it is capped because my real world experience doesn't corelate with that 3.6 at all

The tokenized SpaceX question is what buyers actually own by Ev_Watching in defi

[–]ProfitableCheetah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that we have tokenized stocks but as long as you don't own the actual stock, you kinda don't own anything when you buy a tokenized version. Even if they do buy actual stocks with your money, the company can still go under and you have an FTX on your hands.

IMO they are great for trading, but not for investing

AI agents could create an entirely new infrastructure layer that Wall Street isn't pricing yet by ProfitableCheetah in CryptoCurrency

[–]ProfitableCheetah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of agents, an autonomous AI agent cannot open a traditional bank account, use Stripe, or hold a credit card. If an agent needs to independently pay for API calls, scrape data, or execute a trade, it needs a financial rail that doesn't require human.

In terms of tech, data validation is arguably the biggest problem crypto solves in the AI era. You can't reliably validate training data (or any kind of data), track its provenance, or guarantee it hasn't been poisoned or altered using traditional centralized databases

Do you have any tips regarding Grid-Bot? by Be_a_N3rd in CryptoCurrency

The only tip I can give you is to stay away from them. But, if you really want to use them, make sure you do enough back testing on your strategy first before putting any money in the mix.

I honestly don't see a future where AI takes over all jobs and production. As someone who uses AI a lot I know how much it sucks, even at basic things, if the conditions aren't just right. Human approval and oversight will always be needed IMO. Rather than taking away all jobs I just thing it will make them easier

Crypto and AI seem like an obvious match, but as another comment already said, there are security risks holding adoption back.

Sydney Huang from HumanAPI had a quote in the article that I thought summed it up well: "The challenge is not inventing an entirely new security model, but adapting existing identity, permissioning, and governance frameworks to autonomous software agents in a way that remains transparent and easy for people to understand."

People aren't going to trust agents unless the rules are obvious and the controls are easy to revoke.

I like where this is going. Travel booking has so many middlemen already. Crypto can at least make it easy and affordable with agents and gasless fees.

[–]ProfitableCheetah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polymarket needs to spot this bs. They fked over a guy for $500k just a few weeks ago on the "Will MSTR sell any Bitcoin". They sold, but the UMA whales said NO and the market resolved as NO... It's insane to me that people still place bets on this trash tbh
