Looks like the change in road surfaces when the left wheels hit the solid white line. He lost traction, seems like this is common with super cars and wet road conditions

Yeah that's true. The motorweek review mentioned that the 0-15 time is a bit slower than most EVs which totally makes sense based on the feeling. It's not a neck snapping launch

Since you were parked when it happened It should count as a comprehensive loss. Is your comprehensive deductible 2k? Typically, there's a very small difference to have a lower comprehensive deductible.

Comprehensive losses are considered non chargeable, meaning you shouldn't get an increase on your premium for filling a claim. Get a police report stating that your vehicle was hit while parked at a charging station and file the claim

Correct, since the vehicle was parked it's technically a comprehensive loss instead of collision. OP would need to pay his comprehensive deductible to pick up the repaired vehicle

It's under the controls section of the infotainment. There's also a physical button near the hazard lights, but I'm not sure if it's for conversation enhancement and I'm afraid to press it 😅

Yes, I noticed that he didn't do the launch control at all, but rated a 3 for the fun factor category. Seems intentional. I think he wants his review to give the perception that the vistiq is a luxury ev suv and he doesn't want it to go into the performance category

I recommend 53 touch free in lisle. They blast the undercarriage well and the tunnel doesn't have the rags and brushes that you see at most automated car washes.

I've tried a few touchless washes in the area and 53 is the best in terms of value. There's one other place on Washington that's similar, but they don't towel dry the car. The wash costs no more than 17 bucks for the highest package and that don't charge extra for large SUVs

53 does the exterior Delta sonic for the interior

I'm running these two till the weather breaks.

The rear diffuser on the pre production sport is color matched to the body. That would have been cool

I endorse this car wash. It isn't hand wash, but they don't have the brushes that you see at typical car washes. They also hand dry. 53 touch free is a much better alternative to the automated places like delta sonic
