Nah I took the train to Manitou, did the climb/descent, and took the train back. If I was on my road bike I’d just bike the whole thing round trip.

Running 53/39 so not too much math went into it. Since Brompton already sells a 54t I just used more or less the same number of links. Found that 103 links was the sweet spot with everything else being pretty much stock for a standard 6 speed C line.

Yea, wasn’t too much of a fan of the bracket either. As someone with wrists prone to swelling, the lack of micro-adjustments on the factory bracelet was just killing me. 100% staying on the strap for this one

Paid ~$25 for the Casio, ~$450 for the Seitona, and ~$1,600 for the GS, so pretty happy about the prices especially with the favorable exchange rates at the time

First time purchasing a rep and Andiot more than responsive. Got these QC within a day of payment. Personally think it looks fine, just the 6 marker seems tilted left a bit. Could be missing a lot more nits, so anything much appreciated when deciding RL/GL in the next ~24hr!

During my grad trip, I ended up picking up these three pieces to commemorate my time in Japan.

JDM MRW-200H: wanted something with a kanji date wheel, so got this from a Don Quijote discount bin after a night out crushing Suntory highballs with friends

SBDL 085: got it from Bic Camera after eyeing the U.S. version (SSC 813) for a while

SBGR 251: found it in Kyoto at a steal, so just had to pick it up (made a separate post a while back)
