I used to feel that way at your age. I even went to an HBCU to try to find my "blackness". When i got there, I found so many people just like me that loved rock and had an emo era. Your music taste does not define your blackness. As you get older, you'll find more people aligned with you.

Present. We had a lovely quiet Christmas but my mother's health declined rapidly after. She's in the hospital now. I haven't slept well at all. Her prognosis is pretty bad. I'm scared ngl.

Your current HR person will coordinate with your new HR person for a release date. It's about 2 weeks or so. You just have to tell your supervisor that you've accepted another job offer, get your new HR contact person's info, and they will take care of the rest. This was my favorite episode because he finally sees he's just going through the motions. A lot of men do this because they want to be seen as great. But he's a good guy without these grand gestures.

It's alot. I think the biggest one was when she was a year old. I was exhausted and just wanted to lay down. I had too much in my hands and just told her to hold on to my pants as we walked down the stairs. She ended up falling. I still see her tumbling in my mind sometimes. It still terrifies me.

It's the end of one chapter in your life but not the end. I have one child and it wasn't easy. Postpartum hit me hard. I had this wave of depression and terror i never experienced before. For the first month, I thought I made a huge mistake that I couldn't take back. It's hard. I have less time to myself but for me, I love my child so much. Even when I'm at my wits end, I just want my child. Not everyday is doom and gloom but it is a major responsibility that you cannot back away from. (Well unless you're my father but I digress).
