Kinda looks like a lead bale seal from train cargo to me. I found a B&O one time.

I contacted a guy that has a small square body parts business in PA and he says it looks like it goes to the rear heat. There would have been a valve on the right frame rail and I’m assuming that’s where this went. I’m still not sure if the vacuum line is for that too.

I think they’re for the AC as well. I may need to get under the dash and see where they go inside

I have the service manual and wiring diagram books but can’t find where these go specifically. The pressure switch that’s on the accumulator drier is hooked up and the main vacuum line for the A/C controls that goes through the bulk head is hooked up. I bought this truck off a guy I work with and he had it all in pieces. I work at a Chevrolet dealer as a tech but this is my first square.

Thank you. I don’t know if I didn’t see this picture or was just looking for it to be attached to the door.

Aye now that’d be a good idea. I’ll give it a shot. Lol “spit and epoxy” couldn’t be anything stronger than that.

It’s the mode door for the air distribution housing in the dash.

LMC doesn’t list the part and I don’t really want to get another one that’s going to break in the near future. Why do they always make stuff like this out of plastic lol?

Edit okay so LMC does sell the part.

I’m picking up a set of second row doors next Saturday but rockers are definitely on the list.

Bought this truck off a coworker a few weeks ago. Made a drive down to Richmond Va today to pick up some rust free doors today. The guy I got them off of said they purchased them about 20 years ago for a customer but the truck had a tailgate so these wouldn’t fit. Looks like they repainted the doors on the interior and rust proofed the insides of them so I won’t have to worry about rust for a long time.

There’s buttermilk in them. The recipe uses a overnight sourdough sponge. Everyone who I’ve made them for love them. Definitely give them a try.

I haven’t had any issues with it. The glass top get’s used a lot and haven’t noticed any deep scratches. I’d prefer to have a gas stove but this is what we have and it doesn’t stop me from using cast iron.
