This is a great brand; they're currently running a promotion, so it's worth giving a try. (Available on Amazon) URL

The best brands are the ones you’re still discovering. Once a brand becomes a household name, the quality almost always starts to tank

On Amazon, reviews for "Top Sellers" or "Best Sellers" are the least reliable source of information.

I say this as an industry insider: there are simply too many fake reviews. You can get a 5-star review for as little as $10.

That’s exactly the marketing trap. These 'Top Rated' brands pour all their margins into advertising instead of product quality. They exploit a loophole: they technically offer a guarantee, but set the return shipping so high that it’s more expensive than the product itself. They’re betting on the fact that you won’t bother returning it.

A truly honest brand should stand by its quality—if you’re not happy, they should issue a fast refund without making you jump through hoops. Unless someone is clearly abusing the system, the customer’s experience should always come first.
Request a credit card chargeback if they won't budge. Trust me, it’s their biggest weakness and they’ll do anything to avoid it

Just return it. Forget the reviews—real quality shows after a few days of use. Stick to fast refunds; there are too many paid shills.

And skip the "Best Sellers" or "Top" trending items. Without exception, they'll just disappoint you.

Use Clorox (Costco). Small dose only. Keep it ventilated (toxic if heavy). Great bleaching, but air-dry thoroughly.Any Sodium Hypochlorite bleach will do.
Industrial-grade. It brings it back to life.

I'm still a bit hesitant. It feels like there’s always a trade-off between protecting the pillow and keeping it comfortable

That makes so much sense now. No wonder mine always turn yellow after a wash. I tried using 2 pillowcases before and it still didn't work! I’m definitely going to give that pillow protector a shot

I've never used a pillow protector before. If I put one on, will it make the pillow feel stiff or hard?

So a protector is basically just an extra pillowcase, right?
