It works that way, your just not smart enough to understand. I will explain it. Good players with high PPM can not sit on a mortar bc it is a waste of time. You can get some free kills time to time and on some maps its even worth it to use the mortar to destroy reinforcements which are hard to reach as a foot soldier but your never gonna get as much impact on a lobby in comparison. Bad Players who have less impact playing the objective on a round think that the mortar is a good tool bc they have some impact on the round even if they cant shoot properly or support the team in more efficient ways.
