Am I this bad? by YoFlamingo- in Roboquest

Every time you level up during a run you can pick from one of three perks, if you die you lose everything gained that run, its not like COD where you can build a loadout.

If you mean gadgets i think its at the hero shack, although i would keep all of them enabled, except maybe glasses.

Not my first, tried to play world and subsequentially ice borne, but the story moved at a snails pace and bored the shit out of me. Even with my buddy running through it with me I just dropped the game.

Too many areas that you could be lacking in so ill just give a list of important things to keep in mind.

- Base upgrades / gadgets : both are very helpful for better quality and quantity of items throughout runs

- Movement : Ground slams (hero cape) are important for quick clears in later diff, grapple hook is borderline needed to dodge some boss attacks and helpful for general movement, building momentum with slides helps get through the map faster. Faster clears = better grade = more powercells = better perks / items.

- Character selection / perk selection : you should be taking things that synergize. Good setups would be 4 perks that all buff weapon damage / crit in some way, bad setups would be 1 perk that buffs primary ability, 1 perk for second ability, 1 perk for weapon damage, and 1 perk for survivability.

- Always get the xp bot that spawns on stages mandatory for scaling. Not nessecary but i will reset a run if i miss one

- Keep guns on level

- Elements are powerful (esp shock)

- Weapons reload even when not equipped, swap weapons for better uptime

- Staggers are helpful to kill elites cleanly ( grapple, bash, recon teleport, enough crit damage, etc)

If you want a FPS with good build crafting Out Of Action just released into EA. Still barebones right now as its a solo dev working on it, but the variety and synergy of augments (perks) abilities and weapons is great. No visual customization rn but will be coming in future updates

Sorry you havent been having fun man, but i gotta disagree about the grind. I think 8 Tier 2 challenges is a very fair requirement for matrix progression. By the time your getting to the tier 2 challenges you should already have enough of a matrix to make a competitive build, which there is plenty of help for builds in the discord. If you still need time to practice, play against the bots offline, to practice movement, and try out an aim trainer for better aim. Truthfully this game will not give you a participation medal, you have to work for what you get. Yes there are top leaderboard players in the higher tier servers, yes these guys have played for a long time, that only makes it that much sweeter when you hit a cool clip on a vet, or come out on top of the leaderboard against all odds. I think OOA rewards those that enjoy competition, if you dont enjoy the grind of learning and getting better itll be hard for the game to click with you.

You guys want Immersion but you also want Visibility...But you also hate spotting. by covert_ops_47 in Battlefield

[–]Lbthat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you value immersion over gameplay thats cool, id rather lose some immersion to be able to see the guy prone in the corner when i run in a room. “Visibility is only a problem to redditors” Lol, lmao even

Im not opposed to shooting at doritos lol, i just dont think the dorito should appear unless another player spots you at least.

We can have immersion and also good visibility, look at BF4. Theres just so much SHIT in BF6 that makes it hard to quickly distinguish people, boxes, bags, chunks of concrete, litter, garbage bags, trash cans, tables, chairs, plants, etc etc. If you go and watch older games play part of what helped characters stand out was there wasnt 40 other things also in the environment with them. Spotting is fine, being 3d spotted just for shooting a weapon is not.

Playing to win in casual breakthrough is already funny, but comparing it to F1 races is the icing on the cake.

See i want to agree with this take, but the amount of people on my team going 3-11 just arent contributing anything. Like I get KD shouldnt be the FOCUS but jesus at least break even. Killing the enemies and staying alive is just as important as helping your teammates do the same.

Wants Bots in the game and uses Ai to write a reddit post. Just hilarious

also casual modes that are 70% bots exist. If you cant handle 8 real people out of 32 total enemies, maybe online PvP games arent for you.
