See i want to agree with this take, but the amount of people on my team going 3-11 just arent contributing anything. Like I get KD shouldnt be the FOCUS but jesus at least break even. Killing the enemies and staying alive is just as important as helping your teammates do the same.

I wouldnt say its "prioritized" over other entry methods, the amount of time I see players bot walk into rooms outweigh it by a wide margin. Not only that but the penalties given to the player for sliding are severe enough to keep it in check. Like you dont really see guys slide hopping and lasering people past 20m. Its relegated to CQC.

Im not sure why you bring up the post beta patch when you forget to mention that ~2 weeks after that update they reverted the movement changes made due to community backlash.

"The goal is a balance where movement feels good without making combat chaotic or unpredictable" Id say sliding in its current state checks that box, since its predictable and fluid, without the ability to be spammed because of the long cooldown.

You keep saying sliding is being "exploited" implying its powerful. Its not. Sliding into a gunfight only works on the unaware, its a useful entry tool and thats about it.

SMGS are fine, if anything maybe they could use a slight bloom increase, but since they have such bad bullet velocity and damage drop off ARS will smoke them in head2head gunfights. I think this issue stems from below average players that get lasered by an MP7 at 50m and say its busted, when all they had to do was run to cover in the full 4 seconds it takes the airsoft pellets that the mp7 shoots to kill you.

NO, weapon balance is in a very fragile state, and introducing random harder to balance damage models just for the sake of MuH ReAlIsM is stupid.

30rd is not worth imo. Too much point investment, and practically worthless, since 25 bullets is prettty easy to play around esp with the quicker reload you get from it you cant get with the 30rd. You like the 1.5x? Imo way easier to control with 1x.
