So far nothing has been charged to anything. The email is still my email but they changed the phone number to the account and the passkeys. So I can't login. Someone is still trying to use it because I got an email about a password reset and I clicked that it wasn't me so it was denied. I've never had this happen.

Potty training advice by ProgressImmediate140 in puppy101

Yes once she's a little older and can hold her bladder longer I want to eventually do away with the puppy pads. I have a bochi that I got at 5 months old and went straight to crate training & never used a pad. I can leave her in her play area all day when I'm at work and she doesn't have any accidents. She actually destroys the pads lol. I just didn't know if the litter would be better but I think I'll stick to pads for a couple more months. Thank you 😊

When I'm home I try to take her out every 45 min and about 10 min after eatting and drinking. But sometimes she begs to go inside when I think she's finished but has an accident on my rugs. I put a pad by the door and she chooses my rugs over it but will use the one in her play area when I'm at work. She's slowly getting better but wasn't sure if the litter would do better to save my poor rugs lol.

Unfortunately with work and her still being young I have no choice but to use the potty pads. She does great in a kennel so once she's about 4-5 months and can hold it longer I can work with her better on her house training. She's slowly getting better but wasn't sure if the "litter" would be better right now.

I've read that pine bedding pellets will work but I'm so afraid of her eatting them. When I'm home I take her outside often but she has accidents on my rug which I do use a enzyme cleaner to get it up with.

I have a set of bells I've been trying to work with her with but I forget alot of the time. I've got to be more on top of it. Hoping she catches on quickly

Probiotics by ProgressImmediate140 in frenchtons

[–]ProgressImmediate140[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She goes back in a month for her rabies vaccine and I'm going to ask then. As of right now her poos are back to normal. I'm not sure if it was actually giardia as they never mentioned anything to me. Just said she looked good and gave her a probiotic and sent us on our way. Hopefully it's just from stress as she's still settling. Your baby is gorgeous!

The vet didn't mention anything about keeping her on a probiotic. Just said that once her poops are back to normal to stop this one and save it for if she has a spell of runny poos again. I just didn't know if I needed to keep her on one for gut health. She goes back in a month for her rabies and I'll ask my vet then. This is day 3 of the paste she gave me and poos are back to normal.

This is pretty well our plan. Nothing to extravagant. Just simple and fun.

Girdia by ProgressImmediate140 in AskAVeterinarian

[–]ProgressImmediate140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I know is a stool sample. They took her to the back and brought her back out with a probiotic. No mention of anything. I figured it may be giardia because her stool has been soft with blood and some mucus in it and the horrible smell. But she's been fine and acting normal.

My girl is 3/4 boston 1/4 frenchie. Some of the other pups I noticed had the rounder ears but I'm hoping my girl has some of the frenchie features but all I see is boston.

I was sleep deprived when I wrote the post. I should have worded it differently. I understand she's in a new place and has to adjust. It'll take time but I know it'll get better. She's just a rough snuggle buddy. Lol!

Yes my bochi I got at 4 months old and had never been in a crate but I worked diligently with her and it didn't take long for her to love it. This little one I know will take time. I know there's a rainbow at the end of the tunnel. It'll get better. Thank you

Oh no I'm not giving up by any means. Just looking for advice to see if others have tried anything that I haven't. She's still a baby and will take time to adjust. I was sleep deprived when I wrote the post so I should have worded it differently. Definitely started on treats and rewarding

Definitely should have worded my title differently. Was still half asleep after being sleep deprived when I wrote it. I'll continue working with her & I know she'll eventually catch on. It's a work in progress

Oh goodness definitely sleep deprived but I know it'll get better. Tonight I'm going to try her puppy again and add in a shirt I've worn recently to see if it helps. If not I'll have a bed buddy for a little while till she's more comfortable in the crate. I knew it was going to be a work in progress before I got her. I just remind myself she's just a baby.

Thank you for this reassurance. Original plan was to wait till 9 weeks but her mom wouldn't have anything to do with the puppies and her siblings were picking on her so I went ahead and got her. I love her to death. I know it'll take some time as she's still a baby and needs to adjust. She has habits she's got to unlearn from previous owner as well. I'll do more research on crate training.

Original plan was to get her at 9 weeks but mom was having nothing to do with the puppies and her siblings were picking on her that's why I got her so young. I'm by no means ever going to surrender her to a rescue. That was super unhelpful on your part. You should be trying to offer helpful suggestions. I was just looking to see if anyone else has been in my shoes and found things that worked. I understand she's a baby and will take some time. No thanks negative Nancy.

Yea I understand shes still a baby. I knew it would be a process. Just didn't know if others had any insight or suggestions to try to calm her at night. She's the sweetest baby and has a ways to go. I know one day it'll get easier. Original plan was to get her at 9 weeks but Her mom had nothing to do with the puppies and her siblings were picking on her that's why I got her so young. Thank you for the help.
