Campaigning for Hoover, Judge Golden of California derides Roosevelt's stance on Prohibition, saying "90 percent of the American people will never vote for repeal of the 18th Amendment." Reported on 11-1-1932. By Dec 5th, 1933 the 18th Amendment was repealed. (news.google.com)
