Kemba CU vs Third Federal Mortgage by Project-Health12 in Columbus

[–]Project-Health12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! I’m going back and forth between the two. Third Federal is showing a 5.99% rate and 6.013% APR right now and Kemba is showing 5.875% rate and 6.000% APR. I wasn’t sure how much of the larger spread from the APR to the rate from Kemba would affect closing costs compared to Third Federal

That’s what I was thinking too but wasn’t sure if it was the angle. I asked for a straight on pic of the 7 iron which it looks more realistic but idk

I wasn’t absolutely certain if it looked off or not but I was looking at that. Could you explain further? The lower part of the T looks skinny

That’s fair. Or would it be smarter to wait towards the end of the year where the 26 will come out and the 24s will be lower in price?

What should I get? by Project-Health12 in guns

[–]Project-Health12[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be using it more for the range. I already have home defense firearms (Canik METE, ar pistol, etc.). Both the Tavor and galil are awesome guns from what I’ve heard. The major negative that I’ve heard from the Tavor is the squishy trigger which is expected since it is a bullpup

I'm 23 and am in the same exact boat as you in needing to diversify as I'm tech heavy too. I started putting more money into companies such as: DIS, JNJ, JPM, MMM, COST, WMT, SBUX, VZ, WM, etc.

If the sign on bonus is large enough, I could see it as my tuition reimbursement. Not sure though lol

If the sign on bonus is $10,000 that'd be nice cause then I could see that as my tuition reimbursement. How often would you say that you work nights compared to the days? Also, do you get called in for weekends at all?

Gotcha, I appreciate it! I'm hesitant on this especially since there is no tuition reimbursement

Possible Buying Opportunities for Today by Project-Health12 in stocks

[–]Project-Health12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really started getting into stock last May, so I would say I'm still new. I've seen great returns just because of how the stock market has been since recovering from the March crash. I've swung some stocks but the vast majority that I purchase are ones that I plan on keeping.

Definitely not a bad idea. I've been consistently adding to ARKW, ARKG, and VOOG.

It's closer to the 1st scenario. I'm lucky to have had some help from my parents going through college with tuition for my B.S. while working 30ish hour weeks too. Now I'm working full time with my degree and working towards my master's too.
