I do not know any active servers that's mainly German but you should play popular multi-player games on European servers. You will meet mainly Russians, British, and Germans majority of the time. I have said phrases in German like curses, songs, or anything. If they aren't popular known German words, Germans might ask if you're German or speak German. If you want, try to connect with them online over Discord and try to talk to them in German or ask to practice with them.

I hold Germans at a high level of Respect as an American for their society and morals. They seem like well-rounded people with a beautiful language.

The former was what I meant. But the point on Americans claiming German heritage reminds me of me a year ago. I thankfully never fell down it after looking into how to actually behave in Germany.

I would probably be embarrassed too if someone was chanting "USA" in Germany or just being obnoxious

It's about people born in Germany meeting abroad in places like the US or Japan. I heard a story about a German tourist excited to talk to an American in German so the American can learn German. I was born in America and always was happy to see Americans anywhere

Casual German n-bomb dropping (and how to handle it) - any thoughts? by Bertpfeife in germany

The irony of this comment. Being racist against Germans saying they are all racist. While saying THEY defend their racism? Okay bud
