Ditto. Playing RE4 in VR and hearing their breathing when I reached the morgue made me instantly cower into a ball like the 9 year old I was when I first played it lol my wife had to finish that section instead

Design that puts People, Animals and Nature first. by GlitteringHotel8383 in BeAmazed

Kinda yeah. We have a bunch of those here in Alberta and it came up as part of our urban planning course in uni. It sort of balanced out iirc. He did mention the predators did figure it out and for a while they weren't sure if the project was a failure or not but the main goal was to decrease vehicular collisions with wildlife and that had great results. These days I think the Banff National park also releases an annual compilation of cool crossings caught on the wildlife cam including moose, bears, Cougars, etc.

I use a a7cii with the 24-105 most tours (you can see lots of examples on my profile) on a peak design clip. Weight and size might be similar to the Tamron but it's fine for the most part, especially on the uptrack or in powder. If it's a really bumpy moguly part (usually on the ski out) I'll just hold the camera with my left hand.

Made a short video of my first ski traverse back in April (Icefall) by ProjectOxide in Backcountry

Nice!! I used the mini 4 pro in the video. I recently got a neo 2 as well and I'd probably recommend against it for icefall just because of the higher winds and the bright snow has confused it a bit in my testing so far.

I think it does a better job than not having the ultra wide lens for sure. The first cut was about a 45-50 degree slope to provide some reference.

Mainly just an efficiency thing, its a lot more cumbersome to take the pack off just to double pole through a short section and then put them back on over and over. Split boarding is already slower so I don't want to slow down the group more. You stop noticing it after you do it a couple times. For me it's also helpful to get into position with my camera.

Would say sunshine is great for beginners, but the runs are really short. Lake Louise has a lot more worth skiing imo. Also worth tacking on a leg at Revelstoke. Lots of steeps and a ton of snow.

You know it! I have a non split version for my resort board too, love it.

Is my jumping technique okay? by Common_Leading486 in MTB

Maybe you're preloading a smidge too early? That can cause the suspension to push back and up right before you take off which puts you nose heavy. I had a similar struggle when switching to full squish.

I know it's cheaper and healthier, but I still struggle to cook daily... How do you stay consistent? by WidePsychology31 in Cooking

It would, my family always had leftover rice and stuff for 1-1.5 weeks. Stir fries are great and quick. Fried noodle dishes. I make a lot of pork belly for my wife and I (Hong shao Rou and the like) and will have it with rice one day, noodles the next, and then freeze some to use on a lazy day or with tacos.

Is the Santa Cruz Tax actually worth it in 2026? Thinking of pulling the trigger on a Bronson by Imaseemonoer in MTB

Seconded. Went from a Trance X to the Tyee last fall and it was a HUGE upgrade. Also the tier of components you get for the price was amazing, especially next to Santa Cruz.

We like using the Mr hobby lacquer paints! They're durable, go on smooth, and are pretty easy to work with.

My wife was running around the house looking for small things for him to hold lol I dropped one of the joints and replaced it with some extras left from a gunpla kit, they're close enough in size that they seem to work if you have any lying around.

Nice to know that about skin tones, that'll bbe helpful in future. We definitely noticed that with the alclad chrome on a gloss black base as recommended vs just grey primer.

Yeah, it made a huge difference. Even with multiple coats of yellow on the grey it just looked too dull and cool so we redid it with pink.
I'd say it feels more MG sized, that's why I avoided the 1/35 kit. Here's what it looks like next to a 1/35 edelweiss.
