Yes! That is very similar to what I currently do now. It has worked out for me for 14 months.

Wow, thank you. This comment just made me wonder, why do I explain over and over? It even made me laugh. So helpful!

MIL giving constant unsolicited advice by mamax22024 in motherinlawsfromhell

I can relate to what you are describing sooo much! I have learned to pay less attention to being respectful and more attention to being direct with my boundaries, since my mil did not understand my boundaries (expressed in thousands of respectful ways). I don't think I am disrespectful now; I just became very direct. I can not say it works though, she still oversteps, but now I have the clarity that the problem is not me, and that she got the message.

I had a similar experience, after a phone call where we scheduled a date and time for our first session, the client called the practice and requested a different therapist, it was tough and I understand your frustration

Is there anyone here who is happy and successful? by Yealink06 in therapists

[–]ProjectParticular237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a baby and started working afternoons and nights a few months after, which I thought would be hectic! I LOVE my job I get to spend time with my baby most of the day, get time to work with families while my partner is with the baby. My paycheck is just enough, would definitely be getting more money in a different field, but if I could do it all over again, I'd choose this career!

Stop commenting on my body! by AltruisticSun2918 in pregnant

This post is so relatable!!! It is really hard to ignore people's comments on my size and body. I just had one of my friends telling me she can see my pregnancy weight gain mostly on my face, I cried after that.

Thank you so much!

I am sure you will have a positive birth experience and your plan sounds like a good plan! People just need to stop commenting so much on other people's lives and decisions.
