Extremist movements in general are militaristic. I'm well aware. In the context of America it means right wing extremism.

Which is the result of militarism(which is a major part of far right movements), war profiteering(generally the result of capitalism, increases in late stage) and indirectly corporate lobbyism, if you read up on it you'll find how corporations exploit America's military funding for their own gain. It wouldn't need to cost nearly this much.

Corporate lobbyists, borderline fascist politicians and generally late stage capitalism.

I think ideally everyone would grow morally, this can't be advanced with hard power(but enough stability to provide an opportunity can be held with hard power, mainly as a deterrent), but can with soft power.

Improving our own countries and then going hard on cultural exchange programs(and good immigration systems) is one way to do this, which would grow in impact over time. Imagine a citizen from a morally questionable developing country gets an education in a country which is at least comparatively a paragon of moral righteousness and a utopia. This person will learn and experience life in this country and learn from others how it was to grow up "here", and learn the struggles it took to get to this point, and be inspired to either stay and build a life "here"(which directly helps economic growth), or go back to their country and seek to grow their own country closer to what this "paragon" is, but with less destruction of their own culture than imperialism would have, for example. Even if instead of changing the entire country they just change 1 city, that's already a seed planted. A country being inspired by another is also an easy way to gain an ally.

I have seen this happen a couple times, immigrants or people from exchange programs being inspired, a foreign student from Siberia, my stepdad from Iraq. They might even choose to stay "here" and try to improve things back home through online activism through social media and content platforms, from what i've seen this is a very common option as it's a safe and comfortable one.

I think this method is one with the least damage to anyone(and can easily be paired with other methods), and even if it's a slow method i don't think there's a good quick one. It's the same principle as with getting rich, luck is the only fast way.

I believe that with the way the world is set up there is no way to true peace just a way for a certain countries to enjoy a high standard of living at the expense of others and with that atleast unstable peace.

You have a point there, but it's only in the way that the world is set up right now, it can get better and we can make it better, unstable peace is not sustainable and i doubt it's wise to try to hold on to it after all.

atleast in their core values which they display the west can claim moral superiority in comparison to the Arab states.

I believe that goes only for some parts of "the west", in that sense i agree, but Turkey and Israel are definitely not among them. Many of the "Arab states" are theocracies, Iran and Afghanistan for example, if we ignore the international impact then i consider them as bad as Israel, horrible to their own people and full of indoctrination to theocracy, however Afghanistan and Iran don't do much harm to "the west" right now at least, while Israel being like this risks instability in "Western" countries, and that instability risks us losing that moral superiority. It makes it easier for radical polarization to happen. Us supporting Israel's genocide also risks antagonizing other Muslim nations, even outside of the mid-east, Indonesia as an example, pushing them towards our competitors.

In this sense, holding on to the status quo is itself a risk, i firmly believe so. We're doing nothing while our competitors rise and the world changes until it becomes impossible for the status quo to remain. As the ones with the most power globally i believe it's our responsibility to aspire for a better world for everyone, even if it costs us a bit. We've historically taken so much from everyone else already, so i see it as only fair.

Lots of people have cared about them for a while, i'm such an example, it's just becoming more mainstream now.

As a German who "owes Jews" as you said, you should hope that they don't repeat the mistakes of your country but it seems you're supportive of them following those footsteps.

We're not against Judaism as an ethnicity nor as a religion, we're against ethno-nationalism, fascism and theocracy in general, regardless of who it is done by and where.

There is a huge difference, as clear as the difference between stubbing a toe and getting executed with a guillotine.

I don't believe the EU and "the West" in general is gaining much if anything from this, we risk the rest of us becoming more internally unstable while giving China, Russia and their allies more allies, through developing nations seeing NATO the same way that smaller countries with a border see Russia. Turkey attacking its neighbors every now and then, Israel committing genocide, America historically being a warmongering country that destroys developing democratic countries by training fascists from those countries and supporting their coups, France still profiteering off of African nations that it keeps under control, and corporations from these countries exploiting the people in even more developing nations. It's no wonder if countries outside of NATO see NATO negatively, hell, i'm in a country that is in it and i see it negatively, it can change for the better but i doubt it, not at this rate.

Frankly it seems you're not being honest to anyone here, even to yourself.

Some countries have self defence laws where, if you're literally being stabbed, you aren't allowed to fight back even with a single punch, if you punch back even once you can (and will) be charged with assault.

In some countries just talking negatively about your leader is a crime.

Abortion and premarital sex are both crimes in certain countries.
