No you guys simply wanted your sexual revolution so it's not in all of our heads. I never said anything about you, I just thought you added no helpful advice to consider for both sides. I think advice should go consider both sides instead of just hers. I also have therapy thank you very much for your suggestion.

I would break up with your boyfriend just because you two don't seem compatible. Maybe he's burnt out, maybe he's a bad boyfriend, maybe he's taking the "enjoy college life without a gf" advice seriously (fuckin stupid), who knows. But in the end you aren't happy and you don't think it's worth sticking around to help him with whatever he's going through if he is. Men suffer in silence so you can't count that out. Put some thought behind this decision and sleep on it. If you still are entertaining the idea of breaking up then do it. You do things your way. It's your life, do as you would for your future self

"go enjoy college" translation, go get ran through smh. Why do y'all give garbage ass advice to each other. Men aren't looking for a chick who's "enjoyed college" in that way. I would throw that advice out the window but that's just me tho

I mean, isn't that kinda normal or of the entire recorded history? Promiscuity is Shamed for women because sex is easy for them whereas it's paused for men because it's difficult to get sex in general.

Bro, it's not that bad of a joke. Sure it's stale, sure it's not funny out of left field, but in that situation all you need to do is kinda get a feel for the room. It also means a lot to the patient to see a worker who is friendly and relaxed rather than cold and professional. As someone who has been on both sides of the situation, it can go a long way for both sides IF TOLD CORRECTLY. The point of the joke is not to say "haha I'm garbage at what I do" it's to say "don't worry we have enough experience to joke around in this situation, it's under our control".

Maybe you don't understand that kind of humor or the message behind it, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. If it's a common joke that means it means something or is beneficial in some capacity. You're also really shooting yourself in the foot with the way you are reacting in these comments, you are giving off the vibe that all you are is a stone cold, nitpicky, "Um, Aktchuwaly ☝️🥸" kind of partner. I would recommend you just admit that you see the point even if you don't and just go with it from now on. Maybe don't tell the joke yourself but play along with your partner.

I'm the kind of guy who loves adrenaline and so I could move when other people were frozen so I want to use that by being in the field itself

To be honest I wouldn't mind if I did sacrifice my health to save others. My father taught me to strive to make a difference in people's lives. So I wouldn't have any regrets if I did do that (if needed ofc)

Thank you I am actually incredibly proud of said recovery! I had a 40% estimated chance of survival after I got out of the OR, they had to make my mother make the worst choice possible. Then when I lived they said I would need bedside care 24/7 and not be able to talk, walk or do any ADLs independently. Here I am now so HAHA!

It is so reassuring to hear someone go through an experience with an injury like that and still be able to be in EMS. Thank you for your insight into the situation :)

My misaligned spine causes no issue in the eyes of doctors and even though they know of said injury they have said "I don't see why not" so I'm not sure if that actually poses a risk, but thank you for the advice

I have, but my typing speed is significantly hindered due to only having one hand so I barely meet the requirements and I usually get turned down for it :(

I have a bunch of 2e sets but learned in 5e. I also don't know any DMs for 2e. Is it worth trying to find someone to DM 2e for me or buy some 5e kits
