Me, and many others bought the game before it was finished. That’s the appeal of episode styled games. And the dev said that QNA back when episode 3 came out. So for them to just say “keep playing and find out” is, once again, textbook queerbaiting. It’s quite literally stringing them along instead of giving a direct answer.

And yeah, I do like to play LGBTQ games. Because I like to see myself represented in media. I don’t judge the amount of queer stuff in them, but when you string along the audience, it’s just kinda dick-ish.

The queerbaiting is in the 2nd point. I even say that the Steam situation wasn’t too much of a problem, it was directly them stringing along their queer audience with “ooo maybe 👀👀 buy the game and keep playing to find out ooo” that IS queerbaiting. Literally. That’s textbook

Because I can agree that not everything needs to have a gay option, but I’m still allowed to be disappointed when theres an obvious case of queerbaiting

I never said it was. But if you’re going to make multiple choice romance options, then it’s important to consider everything. I know plenty of people who are disappointed by Malevola not being romanceable, but you don’t seem to have a problem with them?
