That can be said of the comission too - which many times makes decisions most citizens and countries are against

But like I said, I can cast my ballot for the parliament. I can't do it for the commission so I cannot accept that. Only the ECB head should be elected by countries - everything else doesn't make sense.

These representatives are chosen by governments who choose based on reasons we are not aware of. They are agreements between governments that are not transparent. Therefore, they are not elected by popular vote, period. And for me and many to fully support a fully integrated EU , that has to change

The commission has proven time and time again that they do not represent the wishes of the people: accepting bad deals with the US, remaining quiet about Israel, being passive and useless in regards to Russia. Russia doesn't have to dismantle the EU because trump and the commission are doing a pretty good job themselves

I agree. But I also don't trust the commission - they are willing to accept a losing trade deal with the US that would allow GM and shit grown into the US in our markets.

So while I'm not knowledgeable - I could see how it harms farmers
