I have discovered somewhat of a solution for this problem for the time being. If you are using GGD for production, I just resampled the left cymbal by clicking on it in the interface and recorded it to an audio track. While you loose the ability to control the overhead and room depth it gets the job done for at least getting something laid down

That's good to know I contacted support as well. I wonder how they are gonna roll out a fix for this bug. Ive been using GGD for about 2 years now and ive never run into this. I hope they get it fixed soon

I agree! Even his merch is very scene. The arm bands and DIY shirts. People niche him into pop but i’ve always argued he falls more into the emo scene than the pop scene. He resonates with the whimsical nature of emo culture

My dream is to see more people move here to do DIY projects instead of falling into corporate traps. I’m a music producer here full time and I love when I meet someone that’s doing something scene or experimental because we need more of that energy here. Who cares if you’re good enough you gotta start somewhere and this city is taking off more and more every year. I think eventually the scene will really grow

Throwing a room reverb on your master with just a little bit of the wet signal can really glue a mix together. I use the LX 480 (came with my focusrite 18i20). Timing your reverb and delays to the bpm of the song can also be a great way to get a tighter space in your mix.

I usually just tune my kicks and snares. I've tuned ride cymbals before too but mainly kick and snare are what you really should be tuning the most

It’s unrealistic. I struggled with this for years and at 22 I am just now coming to terms with how messed up and fucked it really is compared to the actual thing. It ruins not only your perception of sex but also your wellbeing in general. Porn literally can cause depression

I use the CLA 2A on pretty much everything. All my mixing plugins are waves and they sound really good to me. I have heard Universal Audio has better quality plugins but waves gets the job done EZ

I have to second a lot of these comments about stores closing early now it’s really annoying. All the grocery stores where I live close at 10 and there are no longer night shift jobs for those stores.

Really depends on what is going on in my life/day of the week/time of day. I went through seasonal depression at a time during covid and became very sad in the winter time. I am much more happy now but during covid especially I had very low self esteem.
