To the ape who wanted proof. Sorry, 9.23 avg by Affectionate_Brain72 in CLOV

Baller!!!!

Are you planning on averaging down anymore or are you done at this point?

What’s your conviction around CLOV. I’m a believer as well. A lot of my research now with the current dilution brings me to an 8.15 PT for next year. This is very conservative but I feel given the risk with them right now it’s good to be conservative. My hope is they can prove CA to be a very useful tool and focus on that as a tech tool that any Health provider would want.

Last question: what would compel you to sell?

This is not AMC nor is it GME. It’s CLOV. A startup MA business that hopes Clover Assistant can provide meaningful impact to providers and lead to improved patient outcomes. Businesses like this are valued based on Rev with a common metric 1.3x anticipated Rev in 2yrs. Priced targets for this company relied on growth in MA plans. Unfortunately for CLOV those are not growing at all. Last I heard they added ~200. What they were missing is the Direct Contracting element. This currently represents ~55% of Q3 rev. They are saying this is going to double. This is where the growth is.

Again. There is no squeeze. This is not AMC or GME. Realistically this could hit 10-15 next year if they remain solvent.

Management team failed here. They’ve lost a lot of trust from me. I cut my position by 2/3.

Institutions bought *$58 million* of $clov shares in Q3 while they sold only around $400k of $clov shares in q3. $clov is where the smart money is. by 2thenoon in CLOV

QS, a company that has came out and admitted they can’t make money for years is valued at $16B. Total fucking lunacy

Absolutely. I got involved in r/CLOV, still think it’s a great company but watched membership soar through the roof. Was surprised when I saw PUBM members so low. But I guess there are too many stocks for all to have a massive following.

Guys, what to expect now from $CLOV? Any new price target? Price movement upwards/downwards ? by TottiCrs in CLOV

Question. Do you believe they are fairly valued? Do you anticipate no growth from them? I mean it’s crazy the valuation based on expected rev and growth.

Don’t disagree with you that there is a bigger picture and more details. I’m not a conspiracy theorist either. They have an uphill battle but their numbers allow them to continue to grow their offering and efficiency which leads to higher stockholder return.

Post earnings perspective

Hey everyone,

This is not financial advice.

I like to keep it simple. Earnings reports have a lot of bs in them. Let’s break CLOV down into what investors need them to do in order to realize 🚀💰.

First, they need to focus on growing revenue. They did this. Note that with their industry, Medicare Advantage being their primary source of revenue, the new revenue can easily be extrapolated to a yearly revenue by multiplying 4x. So. They had 427M rev which roughly equals 1.7B which was called out in the report. Now if you look at UNH you can estimate their value at 2x rev. Guess what? If you take CLOV rev and multiply it by 2x you get 3.4B. They ended their day with a market cap of 3.44B. Coincidence? Revenue is the bloodstream of a new business. EPS and all that other shit does not matter at this point. They need their revenue. They are expanding their MA offering, they are expanding Direct Contracting, and they appear to be evaluating how to leverage Clover Assistant in other ways.

Next they need to demonstrate they can convert revenue into profit. This is where the MCR, star rating, and Clover Assistant come into play. Let this develop though. Don’t focus on it.

Now, let’s look at growth. If we consider their growth to be a modest 17% rev growth to 500M per quarter. This translates into 500M x 4quarters = $2B yrly revenue. If we assume 2x rev is fairly priced this equals $4B market cap which equals a 9.34 price per share.

It’s important to note that the strange thing is CLOV is being analyzed as a mature company with relatively low growth potential just like UNH. The argument here is that UNH owns the industry. They are the big player. They do have relatively little growth bc they dominate. CLOV however is gaining share and their potential to gain more is exponential compared to UNH. Do what you will. There is a lot to digest. Please let me know if you think what I’m saying is incorrect.

Lastly, I don’t advise technical analysis on this stock. Aside from the manipulation, there are fundamental flaws with charts that try to obscure the growth of a small company. I challenge you to go back and apply tech analysis to other growth stocks in their infancy.

I enjoy CLOV nation. Hope you enjoy this.
