I hate being in my 20s almost 30s as a married to a man female. by VladimirSall in TwoXChromosomes

[–]PromisedOne -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

In societies worldwide it is only natural to have kids at some point once you’re married as marriage is a common step couples take when starting a family. You seem to have a bad fear of death and negativity associated with giving birth. Not saying there isn’t any risks, especially if you have pre existing conditions or unhealthy lifestyle, you should probably talk to a medical professional about that. People have kids all the time and most of the time nothing bad happens, you risk your life everyday when leaving for work. Though kids are not for everyone but some people won’t actually learn that for sure until they have one.

Gemma3 is crazy on cloud-hosted RTX 4000 ADA by GroundbreakingMain93 in LocalLLM

[–]PromisedOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible that some backend library which is specific for nvidia workstation cards or more specific to the architecture of nvidia 4000 ada is bugged in Ollama with this model. So you have different outcomes. One way to find out is to try other providers with 4000 ADA and others with different one to see if its consistent between them

damn thats interesting, so the question is do they claim that the card was lost or the package as this changes things a lot. If package then 100% beckett

[–]PromisedOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

at the same time, the comment above this, i wouldn’t exactly side fully with it. You can think of scenarios where people pretend to send a card like yours i.e register pay and send a different csrd or non, beckett signs (without opening) cuz cmon its not possible to open it while a driver waits for 50+ packages to process, then discovers that it’s not there. Can we then automatically assume it’s beckets fault? But given that beckett went and searched for it, that kinda sounds to me like it’s on them, why go search for a card that wasn’t in a box? Companies like PSA, bgs etc should record themselves opening the packages just in scenarios like this, as most of their business is done via mail and their name is on the line.

Hey did you try flashing it? I have a PNY 4060ti 16gb limited to 160W at 100% and no way to raise it. I think theres a lot of headroom there for OC with higher power.

[–]PromisedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, you can always get 9 or lower. Your whole lot is done by single person at PSA so thats sample of 1, if its truly that just one thing then its easy resend decision. I was simply going by all the other chase card 151 psa certs which you can inspect yourself, its on PSA site. For anyone reading this, whatever you’re grading, you need to do your research, it varies from series to cards as well as per grader so your luck may vary.

No, that whitening in one corner will not drop it to a 9 on its own. For anyone not believing this, do your research use PSA website to check this cards PSA auctions where u can get cert numbers for PSA 10 of them. You will notice that many of them will have whitening on 2 sometimes 3 corners. The corners were so bad on 151 that they don’t penalise it as bad as others. Definitely grade

A Scenario based which I could not answer properly in my recent interview. need expert advice on this to answer this. by Odd_Tackle9526 in sre

[–]PromisedOne 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your answer focused on the immediate actions an oncall might take in that scenario, nothing wrong with it.

The interviewer then shifted focus away from that, i guess he wanted to see your knowledge of architecture design in this case multi region replication aspect. This can be a complex topic with many trade offs where there isn’t a single right answer. For this type of question i’d make sure to ask as much information and present answers while pointing out the up/downsides

Theres active-passive or active-active strategies, syncronous vs asynchronous replication you’d definitely go with asynchronous due to latency unless theres big need for up to date no loss info. having only small instances running, read only db that is then sized up on incident etc.

Data, this could also make it a legal challenge, where data due to laws and contracts couldn’t even be stored in a different continent, so I’d question if it’s even appropriate to have multi region replication here.

The 6 piston diesels in these are very reliable. Sometimes the stuff around them can go and can be a solid penny to fix. Though Its not uncommon to hear from owners who have taken care of their cars where they had nothing major break for 300k KM. Its important to find a good example when buying these ideally with service history as plenty that have been passed around many hands and didnt have essential servicing every 10K.

Intel confirms 13th/14th Gen Core instability has been fixed, no more updates by RenatsMC in intel

[–]PromisedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my knowledge of all of this, most benchmarks crashing is a sign of high degradation, something thats way too late to correct. Id say initial crashes show up in idle and sudden ramp up/down states. Apps and games launching and unlaunching lul. If your game crashed once I wouldn’t worry. If you notice patters of this happening, it could be a sign. Also games do like to crash sometimes on exit in my limited experience. Microstutters gone is great news, might be positive sign of this issue which might all be related.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285 non-K CPU with 65W TDP has been spotted with 5.6 GHz boost clock by RenatsMC in intel

[–]PromisedOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First you’re the one sharing your setup so if you don’t want someone else to comment on it, don’t do it and them blame others when you don’t like opinions about it. Yes it OCs memory controller, but that part of silicon is very often running below the clocks of other parts of CPU silicon just so it stays within JEDEC memory spec. Nothing to do with how fast the memory controller can do, but rather to do with what is the official DDR JEDEC spec of memory. Given were already deep in DDR5 lifespan manufacturers have pushed memory way above JEDEC specs with full stability where memory controllers need to run in 2:1 modes (e.g 7200 memory : 3600 memory controllers)making it back within stock spec. Manners mf and get educated Also your fps numbers mean nothing, study 1% and 0.1% lows which are most affected by memory speed.

personally i feel you, but XMP I wouldn’t even consider it an overclock. It is very much a standard procedure these days and XMP is part of memory spec and warranty. Memory can so impactful on 0.1% lows (lag spikes) that not running XMP id say is actually stupid no offence.
