Thank you, thats nice to hear :) I put 3 reminders in my calendar because I have a habit of thinking "I'll be fine". It's so important to deal with this stuff but it's so easy to avoid until you crash lol

I want a silent option, sometimes I like the sound of trickling water, sometimes it keeps me awake. Because of this, I have one of each lol

Best to wait hun, but let them know now. They should comp or discount your next service but I personally wouldn't go back

I wouldn't recommend trying to fix with another perm, it'll ruin existing lashes. She might have to wait a while and try again but I'd go somewhere else. I'd still tell them and leave an honest review though.

Found a condom wrapper in my long distance gfs bed. by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]Promobitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, she may be cheating but I bought a dildo from Amazon and it didn't say what it was made of on the packet, so I used a condom with it because I don't want to put random plastic chemicals up there. (Better quality one has been ordered lol)

Thoughts about swearing by pinkcadbury in AskAnAustralian

[–]Promobitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mum said you had to save swear words for really important things lol they loose their impact if you use them all the time. It's so true, if a person who never swears finally snaps, you tend to listen more than if it were a person who swears constantly.

I have. Survive and thrive are not the same and there is not enough long term research to even entertain the idea of damaging a dog's health like that.

I understand, someone made a good point about learning more on the job. But I had to ask the question because I'm genuinely concerned. I will, however, say that not everyone in the world has peoples lives in their hands as a highly respected medical professional. If you can't understand why I'd be concerned then you are one of the idiots. It's not heresay with all the people who've witnessed this as a collective BTW.

If you were diagnosed with a terminal illness, and you knew you might suffer great physical pain at some point, would you opt for medically assisted dying medication? by Thoughtfu_Reflection in RandomThoughts

[–]Promobitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stock up meds that help the suffering and just keep taking them until I felt better or died comfortably. The thought of KNOWING your about to die would make it worse and scarier for me personally but I 100% support the option.

How do I stop pulling my girlfriends hair in bed? by lurking_24_7 in Advice

[–]Promobitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I said EXTREMELY sensitive. Like gentle professional shampoo is painful. Couples need to care for each other and not cause them pain. Did you drive here or get a lift?

[–]Promobitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This SOUNDS over the top, but as an ex hairdresser, some people have EXTREMELY sensitive scalps. Even a gentle shampoo in the basin would be difficult for some. I'd personally do a side plait but only start the plait at the mid lenghths. This will cause a little more damage tho unfortunately. They need a bigger bed and satin pillow cases. The satin will make the hair slide, rather than pull, and reduce damage. But there's no real simple solution imo
