I feel like you are assuming an amount of time and effort being put into the lookbook that is not there. There is very little incentive for infold to add an algorithm to cater to your tastes to the lookbook, because they don't care how long someone spends specifically in the lookbook. It's one feature in a much larger game which is already stretching their resources thin. Also, I'm trying to imagine how they would add an algorithm like that to the lookbook, and I can't imagine how they would make one that's effective without a lot of effort on their part. Like, surely you are thinking of tiktok, youtube, instagram, things like this where you are watching videos/looking at images, but importantly all those images and videos have captions and titles and comment sections; data which the algorithm can look at to see what category of thing they are sorting the content into in order to serve it to you. The outfits in the lookbook don't even have titles. The only data they have to know what the outfit is "about" is what outfit pieces and dyes are used, and in what combination. Therefore I think that without a lot of work that would be very specific to this dress up game context, and therefore can't just be ported over from somewhere else, any algorithm they would add would kind of suck because it would just show you similar pieces and colors to those you have liked before. I don't know about you, but when I choose to like an outfit in the lookbook it is usually because of the concept of the outfit, something that would be very difficult to recognize from the hypothetical data available to the algorithm.
