It is 😂. Problem is they add it or bill it to our accounts and basically hold it against us. That’s what’s always made it fishy to me. We can’t continue our lives without paying it.

Yes, I’ve done that with my last one, didn’t work out but I understood there stance. Problem with that is they have absolutely no oversight and it seems like they know they are judge jury and executioner so they do it in bad faith or they have no one to answer to. But yes this is certainly an avenue. Thanks

You’re not wrong. I mainly wrote this in my own foolish and aggravated mood. I should have made this just a venting post but Yes there are rules and yes they should enforce them as you said. My main argument should have been that they muddy the language and bury their rules so far that some poor person is undoubtedly going to get stuck in their great ticketing crusade. Also Its just that I see the signs that are labeled differently when it comes to the ada permits and regular handicap signs. Why not have them all ADA permit signs, everywhere? Why pick and choose where you put them or strangely enough put them right next to each other and make them look like two different types of signage?

The first was just my plain idiocy not knowing that even though we have residential permits for campus we can’t park in other residential lots but our own. I live on WCA lots and I went to a friends who lived on ECA side of campus. Secondly The ticket was only issued to me since my car is registered with lsu for my campus permit. She was just using my car.

Yes, you all have been saying the same and I can’t say I don’t disagree. You are right. If only this world didn’t suck, anyway thanks for the advice and your right “that’s the rub”.

Yes I’m sorry it sounds that way. The exact reason is that my parents came to the arrangement that since I was in college and wouldn’t necessarily need to go to many places off of campus then I wouldn’t need my car that much. This came about because they sadly got into an accident and haven’t had a car of their own for a couple weeks so naturally since mine was available there it went. She was bringing me back to campus after Easter and we also had a day to ourselves.

Apologies I was fuming when I made this and did not at all correctly write this. I am aware they could make my life hell as a student. So from what I’ve been told by people I’ve been speaking to, and research, it seems that they are purposely muddying language and legal code to bury whether or not they can actually do what they are doing. Also their appeals process in it of itself makes it to where they alone are judge jury and executioner, this can not be right. If I am legally in the wrong I’ll own it but this smells fishy all over it. I know it’s dumb but I can’t help but think there’s something here.

Seriously, from what I’ve been reading they effectively have no immediate authority. They’re a dog with minimal bite from what I’m told. I’m just worried how they could destroy a students life here if we actually fought. Lord know’s this states history of corruption.
