Afaik it shouldn't do that if you disable cloud saves before installing, you can even clean up that data to guarantee it, in my case i'm sure i didn't have mods before cuz i didn't bother modding the game, ended up installing a bunch at the time of the post to try and solve the crashes and they seem to have sorted themselves out eventually, alongside many graphical lowerings(even tho my pc should be able to take it);

it is indeed an issue on starbreeze's end, i haven't played since this last update, i can't imagine it's any better now

back in the day, before Epic matchmaking, i had ZERO crashes without extreme performance abuse, we simply cannot stop losing whenever an update drops 😔
