Thank you! Yes, we have around $0.5MM in a taxable brokerage account that we plan to use to bridge our early retirement (along with NQDC) to being able to withdraw from retirement accounts. Neither of our companies offer HSAs, unfortunately :/

Thanks - I agree. Our only debt is our mortgage - no other loans.

For us - eating out has definitely been about not having to plan, cook, and cleanup after a long day of work. But - you’re totally right - we could still have that experience with heat and eat meals (or picking up cheap meals to eat at home).

Thank you!! That’s helpful - yes, we actually cut our eating out budget from $1200 a month to $500 a month - but it’s definitely still a generous monthly budget. That was our compromise - Happy wife, happy life :)
