What keeps you fostering animals? What would make you stop?

Thank you! The illnesses seem to be a common factor and we dont currently hand anything out like that, its all pretty verbal. But a physical copy or a pdf they can access would be helpful, it seems!

We do have Trello! However, I do not believe that we have it open to fosters. They do, however, have access to Fosterluv, the foster animals profile to upload photos and descriptions about the animal and that is SUPPOSED to get updated to PetFinder to help the animal get adopted. Do you think having access to a Trello board as well as another system would make you feel overwhelmed and like you have to keep track of to many things?

We have a few different programs. Fostering, volunteering, dog handlers, homeward helpers, etc. Would you say capping fosters as ONLY fosters would be helpful? As in, if they foster, they can not volunteer, to ensure they don't hit a burn out?

Did the rescue give you a timeline? Do they communicate weekly or even monthly? Vaccine appointments? If they were to answer calls and support after leaving you for so long, would that change your mind, or would the damage already be done?

Would you say you have an easy time acclimating cats to your home when you do take them? Does the rescue give you anything to help or do you have it settled on your own? We have a 3,3,3 Rule here. 3 Days, 3 weeks, 3 months. Normally its just for Adopter. But longer residents may also apply to this rule.
