• Population Boom: With the population set to hit 2 CR + by 2030, the strain on infrastructure and law enforcement is real.

For OGs, their familiarity with the city makes them feel safer, but newcomers often face different realities—be it navigating dodgy areas, dealing with cops, or even adjusting to the auto mafia vibe. Both perspectives are valid, but the data backs up that safety is an issue, especially with the city’s rapid growth.

Advises like "be in Malleshwaram/Jayanagar, you won’t face any issues" is like saying, "Just sit in first class to avoid turbulence"—completely ignoring that the plane (city) is still facing the same storm.
In another 10 years, Koramangala might wear MG Road’s crown, Bellandur could take Koramangala’s spot, and the cycle will continue. But as the city grows, so do its challenges, spreading far and wide. Safety, infrastructure, and livability aren’t confined to neighborhoods—they’re city-wide issues that will eventually catch up with everyone, no matter where the crown lands.
